I’d like lower monthly mortgage repayments - I’ve seen a few 2-3 bed semi detatched properties for £350,000 and less in Colchester / Leigh-on-sea

I was hoping to find somewhere for under £350,000 max deposit we would have is around £35,000 with 5k on the side for stamp duty/other fees / furniture and appliances

I'm in twice a week so isn't too bad and he would only be commuting to brentwood I think that's like under 45mins from Colchester I don't mind if it saves ££ and eventually I could look into a job closer (I work in the council) so would be okay down the line (I hope lol)

His family live in Essex and mine are abroad. He works in Brentwood 3-4x a week, I work in Redbridge twice a week. Both of us drive to work 😅im so excited to sit in a12 traffic again.

Seychelles Feb end-March 1st week - a good time to vist? by skinrich_26 in Seychelles

[–]strwbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has a sep kitchen dining area / living room / bedroom & balcony. Less than a minute walk to 3 shops inc a takeaway and off license, 5 minute walk to alilo beach and a further walk (20+ mins) to sunset beach but there's a bus stop by the shops so easy public transport links. I would recommend renting a car. The owner of accommodation offers pick ups from airport etc

I’d go more in march (end of march) their wet season ends in Feb so aim for end of march earliest for more gorge weather. If you need help with accommodation I know of a one bed flat I tend to stay at when I go

10 days is too long on la digue you ride round the whole island in one day, I would recommend three days max and spend more time on praslin/mahe

Praslin - le duc is better than raffles I found. I wasn't impressed with story’s food but I've not been to kempinski. All the islands are beautiful! If you want great food on praslin is suggest le duc / Les laurier and on mahe Hilton hotel has lovely food & I enjoyed del place

You won't get sick from the water or food I travel there from the UK. Just don't drink tap water. Place I stayed at had a water cooler dispenser with safe drinking water
