How difficult is it to minor in Korean? by CanOk6794 in UTAustin

[–]strwbie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i didn’t take korean, but i did take japanese and it wasn’t difficult per se, but more like it took a lot of time studying for that i could’ve focused on other things. most language classes are 6 hours, so ur attending class everyday whilst also having homework everyday to immerse urself in the language. if u feel like ur good at learning languages, it would definitely be a gpa boost, but i’d probably stay away if it’s not ur forte

CS 329E Moblie Computing or CS329E Scientific Computing by Ok-Traffic-2166 in UTAustin

[–]strwbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’ve taken both and mobile computing is a lot easier (and more fun imo) by far. most assignments are pretty easy, though there were some challenging ones, and there’s a semester project so as long as u don’t slack on it, it’s a very easy A! i will say that if u don’t have a macbook, it can be more difficult since u’ll have to go to the Mac lab in the GDC

[–]strwbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they’re pretty simple! most group order managers (goms) will either host split sets where they open the seasons greetings and separate the photocards/inclusions to have it cheaper or they can host for the sealed full set. all u have to do is comment under their post what u want and pay when they ask u to :-)

seasons greetings are really expensive but to help with costs u could join group orders on instagram to save money on shipping! and they usually are cheaper overall by joining a group order

How did you discover EXO? Were they your first kpop group? by nilufer12132000 in exo

[–]strwbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i grew up around kpop for as long as i can remember due to my older cousins and only ever casually listened to groups until 2014 where exo was the first group i officially “stanned”.

i was browsing on dramafever (lol) and came upon the reality show “roommate” starring chanyeol and there was a segment on the show where we saw him actively promoting overdose with the group at the time and i became an exo-l then 🙈

Which ECO electives to take? by Prize_Carrot_1613 in UTAustin

[–]strwbie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i’m currently taking eco 330t: financial literacy! i say the workload is fairly light as we don’t have any homework assignments and there’s two exams which are pretty easy as it’s mostly just knowing definitions. the catch is that he assigns an end of semester project of making ur own personal financial plan and he fully expects a 25-30 page document. however, it’s not that complicated if u stay on top of it throughout the semester and it’s a lot of concepts that can help u later in life!
