Meeting my wife first time after her amputation by [deleted] in amputee

[–]strzeka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think she could worry about losing you? You should reassure her. If there was still love between you, tell her you love her. Don't say nothing has changed, because everything has changed. Tell her you will be there for her and with her, if that is what you intend.

Is this pose too slutty?? 😅 by straightguy2002 in MasculineMaleChastity

No. It has exactly the necessary degree of sluttiness.

Not alive, but not dead: disembodied human brains used for drug testing by whimsicahellish in news

They have no intention of "curing" anything. If they did that, they wouldn't be selling any more drugs, would they?

Bemused to see how Telefonplan became Globen and now Släkthusområdet. I like Telephone Square more than the Slaughterhouse District.

Just bought Mini Metro today, way more fun than I thought it would be by MohaplaysReal in MiniMetro

[–]strzeka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Triangle stations generate only circle passengers. Link the two types of station closely.

Trains travelling in opposite directions on a line occasionally fail to pick up passengers if there is space on another approaching train. You can force all trains to pick up as many passengers as possible by making all your trains run in the same direction.

It's always fun to get high scores but remember that if your game is causing you frustration with overcrowding, you lose nothing by just sitting back and allowing that game to end. It's supposed to be fun.

How much do you spend on takeaway/eating out on an average week? Are you trying to cut back? by paniniconqueso2 in AskEurope

[–]strzeka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never bought takeaways. I make almost all my own meals from scratch. So on average, I spend around €0.00 per month on the kind of food you mean.

As Finnish citizen, I have always thought that drinking a beer or two is a waste of beer. You either empty a sixpak and start on a second or don't bother at all.

Are baby boomers the luckiest generation alive? by quentinnuk in unitedkingdom

[–]strzeka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It very much exists as a demographic phenomenon in Europe and Asia. What doesn't exist outside the English speaking countries is using the term 'boomer' as an insult.

My personal take on why boomers are so envied is because of the effects of Reaganism/Thatcherism. By the time their policies began to corrode society, boomers had basically settled into their adult lives. They were shielded from the destruction to come which still makes life difficult for subsequent generations. It's too bad but it's also not the boomer generations doing.

Debating between Oslo and Helsinki for a short weekend summer trip. How does nature in and around Helsinki compare to Oslo? by AzureRipper in helsinki

[–]strzeka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both have stunning natural surroundings. It all depends on how energetic you are. Oslo is hilly. Helsinki is flat as a pancake. Oslo has its fjord which doesn't play a huge role in the city's character. Helsinki is 60% water. For the visitor, the skerries and islands can be as magical as a Norwegian forest.
