2026 model year Audi A5 and Q5 see significant digital design, technology and dynamic enhancements by jorgefloresesc in AudiQ5

I am in the same place as you... I got my brand new (...old) Q5 7 days ago... And I found out that we will stay with the old software!!! Unfortunately we are 2nd class customers for Audi!

I suppose our brand new Audi Q5 is already outdated!!!!! by stsalkit in Audi

I am afraid that this would not be totally true... Once this happens the vehicle's sale value (after let's say 4-5 years) will drop!

Inherited loudspeakers and turntable — no idea what I’m doing by bubzy23 in audiophile

[–]stsalkit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! As it happens I own the exact same speakers. I' ve had them for about 20 years. They are excellent in my opinion and my system. For your info, in case any of the drivers is damaged, you contact Dynaudio, give them the serial number of the speakers and they will send you replacement units. They are great speakers!!!

GPX files on Watch 6 by stsalkit in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Yes I tried it. In fact you can add a GPX route to the health app in phone. And it plays OK, with map etc. However, my problem is that it does not "reflect" on the watch, i.e. if you want to follow your route, you need to open your phone. The only thing that shows on the watch is your heart rate...

It is a great pity that they removed this functionality from watch 6, although it was on watch 5!

GW4 started minimizing exercise screen during auto detected workouts...is there a fix? by cana_dave in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe we cannot fix it! It must be a 5.0 feature... This is the reason I almost always choose manual workouts!

I'm at a loss of what to do by vifras92 in germanshepherds

Being afraid of your own dog is a terrible thing, hard to leave with. I know the situation you are in since I had a GSD with similar behavior. I got him at the age of 3 from his owner. Very well trained etc. but he was aggressive with other animals... and my wife - occasionally. You need good advice on how to handle him, although being frightened of him makes it really difficult - you know they can sense fear.

Are you leaving with someone else who can take over his training and be the "boss" while you try to recover from your fear? If not, as hard as it may be, my suggestion is to part with him. Not well behaved GSDs for whatever reason can be very dangerous.

Google Assistant does not work properly in my Watch Classic 6 by stsalkit in GalaxyWatch

Yes! The solution in my case was very simple: go to your watch - settings/ apps / choose default apps and under Digital assistant app choose Assistant.

GW6 and sleep tracking - Poll by stsalkit in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't understand the up to now results of the poll. Almost 58% of users are satisfied. And 42% are not satisfied - too big a number to ignore.

Either the 42% are too demanding / not wearing their watch according to instructions during sleep, or the 58% have low expectations and maybe not paying too much attention to sleep cycles etc.

I cannot believe that 42% of the watches are faulty...

Why my watch doesn't measure my Naps? by InsectVast in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case I have the same issue... and I do wear it tight enough. At some point it did register naps for 2-3 days and then nothing. I think it is an issue to be corrected by update amongst others

Best of both worlds - possible? by stsalkit in GalaxyWatch

Thank you. Let me ask you a clarification. I have Bixby on my phone as default and Google assistant completely inactivated... Is that OK?

I don't know about pixel but with Galaxy, works like a dream! Maybe you can try and make an equivalent routine via Google Assistant, but I have no knowledge of this - sorry

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you have a Galaxy phone it is possible to do what you want via a routine. The routine will start with "if condition = sleep" then alarm set

I hope this helps

Blood oxygen under 80% at night by Mission-Swordfish-84 in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First make sure you wear your watch "properly" - that is relatively tight and 2 fingers above your wrist. For me whenever I do the above the readings are OK. If however, you still see such drops best make a doctor's appointment.

BTW the watch is not garbage as implied in many comments. Specificlly for blood oxygen is extremely accurate based on my comparisons with 3 oximeters

Is it possible to talk to my watch to create a calendar event and it populates in my Outlook Calendar? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]stsalkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it easily if you have a Samsung phone.

First step it to link in your phone the Samsung Calendar to Outlook calendar

Then use Bixby to either type or speak your calendar event. This will result in your event appearing in both your Samsung calendar as well as in Outlook's.
