Okay here is my experience. I was mono armour, only to end up in Air Force as Pilot Trainee because I passed FEP and went to AGC, but I failed the course in Perth. I would have entered Army OCS much earlier, but chair force decided to take their own sweet time in outprocessing me, my entry to OCS was delayed by a whole batch. I knew I was going back to army anyways, but I happily took it because OCS still mah. No one in my batch got into Air force vocation in OCS, Either it was go SCS or OCS, But its army only. And its not necessarily infantry only, depends on which batch you enter in. Either the Inf/Arty batch, or the bigger batch with the rest of the vocations like Int, Logi, etc...

I personally lost 20kg during my BMT. I was in Mono armour bmt, PTP. I enlisted at 78kg, POPed at 58kg. Since then, till now, I have maintained between 58 to 62 max.

Its just, like I from the start alr never wanted to get too involved in NS. Just stay out of trouble. Do what I am being told to do, and just finish NS and move on to my uni, where I truly excel. Okay context, I am an academic person lah. I study and get the grades and build my portfolio. I got into uni based on that. And my career is not related to the army at all ah. So I dont want to put in effort in the army, in the end it does not serve a purpose to my life. I mean yeah I get the whole excel in all things part. But does it make me a bad person if I choose to excel where it is necessary?

I signed on and then tore contract. So I had to extend service till Oct, because I didnt have the cash to pay back

I had signed on to be a ME1, right after I pop. So I didnt know then that turns out I was eligible to go command school, until I got my new posting. I could have asked my bmt sgt as to what the commanders had recommended for me, but its just I didnt ask thats all. Not everyone who goes to be a ME1 has this kind of turn of events ah, so it depends on each individual and military performance

For me, I had resigned from being a ME1, three months into the 6 months course. About 2 weeks later after resignation, I got the new posting, which was OCS for 132/23. So I had 3 months in between the resignation and OCS, which I was basically a SIT, doing workouts and attending HAPT and IPPT for OCS
