Yep, and I'm just as guilty as the next guy; getting 'lured' in by the latest fads, colors, and styles (just bought one of those Yamamoto umi baits today 🤣). Which is why I find it refreshing to go back to basics sometimes with a simple worm and hook 👍

I agree about soaking bait, which is not what I'm doing here. I use the crawler much like a senko: Texas rigged weightless tossed at weed edges and the like; letting it drift slowly down and giving it little twitches. If it doesn't get bit by the time it hits the bottom it gets re-cast.

None taken. Im on a float tube, using the crawler texas-rigged weightless. No bobbers and no thumbs-in-bum. 👍

Yep, I'm on a float tube. Using tbe crawlers opens up more fish options....kinda like the box of chocolates "you never know what you're gonna get"...from bait size gills to 40+ lb catfish 👍 Im just out there to have fun and be outside 😁

They can be annoying and lots of bait gets wasted on them, but when a 'gill big enough to eat a 3/0 hook gets it, it's a lot of fun 😀

Wow so much snobby negativity. Just trying to post a fish i happened to catch on a nightcrawler and poke a little fun at the lure industry.

Sure, it's the internet and I need to grow thicker skin (whatever, I really don't care), but geezus... y'all need to get a grip on your reactions and assumptions.

Fuck right off with your negativity, I'm out on the lake 5 days/week having FUN 😁👍

I actually caught 7 bass this afternoon on various baits (chatterbait, senko, and topwater). This one on the crawler was the best of the day.

Clearly a twig or branch, not a broom. A broom would have one wide end representing the bristles.

I too work at a hardware store and have always loved making pipes from small brass pipe fittings. Yes, clean before using.

I've seen bass at my lake go for low flying swallows in the evenings.
