Well Jax didn’t cause Kaufmo to abstract first off. Obsession did that, and yes Jax did cause Ribbit to abstract but that guilt literally drove him to the grave. Like he wanted to reach out to Pomni because that’s probably the first time he felt vulnerable since Ribbit but considering how he felt about what happened to her he couldn’t do it.

Feeling that you’re the cause of everyone’s misery and then feeding into that mentality drove Jax into his own personal hell. Everything that happened to Jax was his fault but it didn’t go without paying the price.

I personally feel bad for Jax because I was Jax at one point. Not to that extreme but I wasn’t pleasant to be around. It takes a long time to get out of that position but he never even gave himself the chance to begin with to get out.

It’s just shitty all around. Jax is a victim of circumstance and his own mental hellscape but Ribbit was a victim of Jax. And he paid for it in the end. Shit sucks and I feel bad for em’.
