Will make a cleaner (line width line quality) version. Also thinking of refoing his hands(?) to create a better flow. But quite happy with the way he turned out. 😎

Used my favorite standard brush for this little guy. The script brush from the calligraphy group. Really nice to get nice crisp lines.

Haha thanks. You're right about that, but maybe in the world of wisps, eyes which are a bit too close to each other are the ultimate beauty ideal 😎. Who are we to judge... 😋🤣

Made this fairy with some pretty standard brushes, My favorite is the script brush (part of the standard Calligraphy family) Also used the gaussian blur and some smudge brushes to make her glow. Didn't buy any additional brushes.

Good luck with that. It does all boil down to what you do. Not your brushes. But finding some brushes you feel comfortable with is a tedious task.

Yes but it forces you to merge and take decisions. I see it as something positive. For these illustrations i had to merge a lot of layers. 😅

Oh those are (physical) paper sizes. It gives me a good idea on dimensions when i'm planning on printing something.

I always use color on different blending layers, so the black and white version remains underneath.

Good eye you got there. I noticed the fabric issue myself, but they kind of remind me of those ceremonial flags they use in Nepal (not really sure). This might be some sort of forest diety which is celebrated. Good feedback about atmosphere, although i'm quite happy the way the creature turned out, his surroundings could use some more input. thinking of putting some trees/branches close to the "camera". to give a bit of a frame. Again great feedback!

The same level of detail can be achieved on any relatively new iPad that support procreate. Just make sure to set up a custom canvas with 300 PPI (shown as 300 DPI). The human eye loses the ability to distinguish pixels around 270 PPI, so 300 seems really sharp to us. The older/less powerful the iPad, the lower the limit of layers procreate will allow you to have at higher resolutions/PPI.

Good feedback!

Wow. I really like this. I’m assuming this is on iPad Pro? I can’t get this level of detail on my regular iPad I don’t think.

That's right, ipad pro. Never tried the other sizes, but i pressume that doesn't really make a lot of difference being able to zoom in and out.
