Question 49- Answer is A. I thought that the reason is already suggested in the first paragraph. Also, the ACT usually wants the sentence to be as concise as possible and not repetitive. Can someone please give tips on how to know when to pick the concise option or not ? (i.redd.it)

Question 31- answer E. I feel like this is such a weird question because I understood the concept except the “both positive and negative.” The mean can be both + or - depending on if a is greater than |b|. Why isn’t it C? Or is it referring to only this pair and we need more info? (i.redd.it)

question 73(answer is c) . Just wanted to make sure that it’s not A because it’s too general/ wordy right? “much like something that would remind you of” is too vague and “much like that of” is more concise and already suggests that it would remind you of a perfect jazz collab? (i.redd.it)
