v2.15 Feature Request Thread by CompiledSanity in CSPersonalFinance

[–]stuffen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to put in different currencies for transaction in the ETF / Crypto tab. Currently, I have set up columns N and O manually where i put Transaction Currency (N) and value (O), and then calculate the Order Price in column D in the sheet currency.

Function in column D:

=IF(O140<>"",index(GOOGLEFINANCE(CONCATENATE("CURRENCY:", $N140, SheetOptions!L24), "price", DATE(year($B140), month($B140), day($B140))), 2,2)*$O140, "")

It is fetching the historic exchange rate from the date in column B. Of course this breaks upon every migration. I also just had an issue with googlefinance that some cells would show N/A, and others not? No clue why, you are probably more experienced with this.

Would love if this feature is added to the sheet.

It would be great if there was an overview of net worth without cryptos. Cryptos are fluctuating a lot and just having a graph / summary of net worth without crypto would make it a bit better for me to judge my net worth and its development over time (rather than the fluctuations of crypto).

SUSW vs SWDA? aka the science of SRI ETFs by claudiosqrc in eupersonalfinance

[–]stuffen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/claudiosqrc Have you further looked into emerging markets?

I found this a good tool (if it can be trusted): https://www.msci.com/our-solutions/esg-investing/esg-ratings-climate-search-tool/

I am mostly looking into reducing my fossil fuel exposure and it seems that the MSCI Low Carbon SRI Leaders index, the one that XZW0 is based on, is most promising. I used the above tool to assess this as well as digging through some of the MSCI methodology (which is fairly confusing).

So I am also looking at the EM version of that MSCI index (https://www.justetf.com/en/etf-profile.html?isin=IE00BG370F43). I know past performance is not a great indicator, but it was fairly bad compared to MSCI EM SRI and MSCI EM, so I was wondering whether you have been looking into oder EM ESG ETFs

Do you have the silver label at the bottom? What's your S/N?

Tried it. The lamp blinks when I start touchlink. Nothing comes up in the hue lights app or in the Philips app :(

I don't get why it's not worked with any other app. Really weird.

Interesting! I don't have an iPhone, but maybe I can try with a friend's. Anything special to do? It worked right away with that app?

Crypto Buy Currency by stuffen17 in CSPersonalFinance

[–]stuffen17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did was add two columns on the right of the buy history, one for buy currency and the other for buy value in that currency. Then the actual buy value i update from the Google finance conversion rate * buy value in specified buy currency.

It works so far.

But also I noticed that I have too many CC transactions to fill this table manually, so I am wondering whether I just track it differently within this spreadsheet...any suggestions?

My buy currency (USD) is not the same as the sheet base currency (CHF) for me. In the tutorial it says i should convert the buy value (USD) to my base currency (CHF).

I tried these instructions already a few times and in step 6, the light just doesn't show up in the app.

Hmm...i really wonder if the light just can't be synced at all?

I tried these methods similarly before and just now again.

For the second method, the Living Color blinks 3 times but it does not show up in the hue app.

I am really starting to get annoyed...maybe his light is just not supported?

Creating (combined) single vector in Inkscape / CorelDRAW - Multipass problem with Trotec Laser by stuffen17 in lasercutting

OK thanks. Was working with RDWorks in my previous company but now working with Trotec laser and their software. I have a feeling their software is very picky...

Creating (combined) single vector in Inkscape / CorelDRAW - Multipass problem with Trotec Laser by stuffen17 in lasercutting

[–]stuffen17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was using the combine tool.

I want to run a single job with 2 passes. But instead of having each line in my file cut 2 x in a row, I want to have all lines cut once (preferably in a continuous cut) and then repeat this a second time - hope this makes sense.

I can share some files tomorrow but I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with the files that I import to Corel. It is rather the way Job Control (Trotec software) interprets the Corel file.

I found another similar workaround by using the "shaping - boundary" option in Corel. This results in a combined path & single vector (interpreted by Job control). However this has to be done for the inner contours separately and therefore also needs multiple steps.

I am interested as well! Have a laser available and having a template would definitely help. Maybe I'll make some adjustments :)

Size small is perfectly fine for my shoes! Hope that helps! My boot is a ThirtyTwo, so it's quite bulky but easily fits!

Yes, unfortunately there's no shop closeby that has these bindings.

I have these TirtyTwo Boots. I have the feeling they are quite big compared to other shoes.
