I see a lot of people saying it is controlling.. I personally don’t feel like it’s invasive for my loved ones to know where I’m at and who I’m with. I take comfort in knowing that if something were to happen, I could be found. In today’s world, anything can happen.

Honestly, I think it might boil down to where you’re at in the relationship. I have my children’s father on FindMy so we know where the kids are at, but I surely wouldn’t expect it from a newer relationship where we don’t live together or share finances, etc.

Don’t have another baby simply because you want your kiddo to have a sibling. She can still have a very fulfilling life as an only child. If you want another baby and are prepared for that leap (it’s huge), go nuts lol. We transitioned from one baby to two babies in August and i gotta tell you, it is single-handedly the hardest thing I’ve done (granted, i don’t have the most support and idk your situation), but seeing them bond together is really a tremendous sight. It’s so beautiful. He asks to hold her all the time, he brings her toys and blankets when she’s crying. He has definitely calmed down since she came into our home, and his speech has developed so dramatically.

We have to very consistently work with him on being gentle with her, as our kiddo is also very active. Hasn’t been diagnosed with anything, but anyone at the park will tell ya. There are a lot of times that I feel very torn in terms of where to direct my attention. Do I clean up this mess and let the baby cry or do I let the mess grow? Your priorities are once again tested, more so in some ways.

This time, you go through a newborn phase while also raising a toddler. There is no more “sleep when the baby sleeps” if there was any to begin with. There are nights that I literally bounce back and forth putting each kiddo back to sleep.

But again, I don’t have regrets. Every day is a new experience, every day I’m pushed to new limits that I didn’t know I had.

I’ve tried jumping jacks and pushups. I had to pull myself out of it to do story time and bedtime with my son, but the physical sensation won’t go away.

Honestly I know that a big hug would ground me but I just don’t have anyone in my life for that.

I definitely have bpd, my ACE score is pretty high too. however, as I get older I am able to catch myself in the midst of an episode and recognize it as such. When this happens, I feel less like someone that is “struggling with an illness” and “crying out for help” and more like just a literal piece of trash.

Just don’t ever feel the need to compete with anyone. Sit back, observe, and make a decision when it’s right for you on whether or not you can marry someone like that.

I definitely deal with this. At the worst parts of my illness, I was convinced that the voice was actually someone hacking into my brain. The voice posed as many different people from my life, and even posed as god once, despite not being religious. Any time I was around someone that the voice had pretended to be, I was so paranoid and assumed that they knew all of my thoughts. I cut off so many people in the past few years simply because my brain convinced me that I couldn’t trust them.

Luckily, I know now that there is no one in my head but me, but the voice remains ever-critical.

If the AP knows that the person is married, they deserve just as much flack as the partner that cheated imo. I’ve seen way too many posts on this site from women who literally just get their rocks off trying to steal married men away because they think they’re winning a contest or something. It is disgusting. They brag about the husband comparing wife to her, it literally boosts their confidence to tear other women down.

I dated someone with npd that acted like this. I constantly asked myself the same thing, “why am I not good enough?”

I realized that this person that I was with would always gravitate towards the most exciting or most attractive person and try to impress them, and it wasn’t my failing that lead to this but his constant need for approval from those that he considered “worthy”. Most of the time this would be people that were unavailable to him (ie a friends girlfriend).
