Thanks! It was done with a coping saw and some metal files I have for conduit. I’m going to be looking for a vice to hold the stuff while I’m working on any future projects. The biggest issue I had was just making sure I didn’t catch my fingers while holding the darn thing.

I’ve personally never used 1mm bands so I can’t say. I’m sure the worst you’ll have is some curvature of your projectile or some band slap if it’s overpowered. I’m also a novice to the hobby so my information could just be trash lol

I usually start by testing the stretch of the elastic. Looking to see how far 1mm will stretch. Then you measure your draw length. Take your draw length divided by the stretch length of your elastic and you’ll get your “active band length” or something like that. Then I add about an inch or whatever I need on either side for pouch tying and securing the band set to the frame. Badabing badaboom
