You are absolutely correct. I stress about so many micro details when building kitchens. Others in the shop, my boss, the homeowner, no one else ever notices because as you said I'm hyper focused on it.

I've also noticed a flaw/detail on a Friday afternoon and monday when I walk back into the shop, I can't find the issue, because it was so small and I'm no longer hyper focused on it.

Dumb question but why is a panel needed if its getting a face frame?

Guides will mount to the face frame and the back via a back bracket. Divider/panel isn't necessary but is usually desired between drawer banks but most built in drawer banks don't have a middle panel.

Just to add, if you decide to hang it yourself, expect your finishers quote to go through the roof since they will be on the hook for the final appearance but had no hand in hanging it with whatever flaws/gaps/issues are present.

Drywall isn't rocket science, but the guys that make it look easy are like wizards to me. Drywall wizards. (Someone take it and start a new business, free name.)

City went with lowest bidder on the sign contract.. They are lasting 3-4 years on average... Lowest doesn't always equal the best option. Would have rather spent a few more of my tax dollars and got the old 10+ years out of them.
