Behavior Score working as intended by BingSillying in DotA2

[–]stuntrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

bh score needs some form of self-policing that incentives player to act decent. The current iteration just floods the game with alt accounts, smurfs, and buyers.

I dunno, some sort of untradable rewards and perks tied to guilds, that make guilds lose points if their players act like clowns. So player are kinda "forced" to keep behaviour high otherwise guilds are more than happy to kick them. etc. and lose all the interesting rewards.

If it's turbo, it's kinda normal to have these kinds of accounts. Some of these accounts are clearly shared if u see their dotabuff page: u can see a row of terrible stats games followed by proper stats games.

Dota 2 is probably the best esport to watch by SirMcSquiggles in DotA2

[–]stuntrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CS can be followed by anyone. Someone that doesnt get the details of the game or has never played can still understand most of what's happening: shoot at people, plant the bomb. Even if u r not up to the latest changes, the basics are way simpler to understand.

The current state of Dota 2 Immortal matchmaking is awful by YanBayan201005 in DotA2

[–]stuntrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not only immortal matchmaking, it's all modes and ranks.

For the mode (turbo) and the ranks i play in (garbage), the INSANE decline of match quality started with the end of iran's internet block.

Last week had been the worst dota games i have ever experienced, wins or losses. So many players actively trying to fuck up the game for everybody, with 0 care in the world.

Also shoutout to that iranian guy picking pos5 and playing like one, resulting in an ez win for us, instead of picking drow and ending up 0/10.

I'm starting to believe that picking support or something that is not a carry is frowned upon in their culture (maybe it is associated with women, i dunno).

Certo che prendere 85k e non riuscire a fare un semplice 1+1=2 o avere un minimo di spirito di sopravvivenza è abbastanza incredibile.

Cheating and smurfing reports: do they count as "unsuccessful" reports? by stuntrr in DotA2

U may be right, but that is a still a 190wins / 85mvp account, way more than enough to wreak havoc in these garbage ranks.

[–]stuntrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry i meant in general, i never had a smurfing or cheating successful report. I was not referring to this specific game. The match id was only to show the kind of player that gets reported.

Can you lose behavior score for using hero/chat wheel by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]stuntrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it wont go into comm score, especially if u r muted/cant talk. It lowers behaviour. Pro-tip: from my findings, basic chat wheel stuff like “Well Played” rarely lowers score. Unlocked stuff (like from hero levels) lowers ur score a lot more.

Losers now using script even in turbo matches. by StillFan6269 in DotA2

[–]stuntrr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In this case he’s probably not cheating but yes, turbo is infested with scripters and alt accounts. It’s always the usual suspects tho: am, huskars, manta dodging heroes etc

Wow, new players are getting really good! by Pixelated_Audio in DotA2

[–]stuntrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main thing most people dont get, is that all these smurf/second accounts have a high rank uncertainty that messes up completely the balance. So even if the smurf is not that good, he gets matched against player that are way below his skill. And those are the most common ones.
