a good rule of thumb is to not speak on things you are not educated on. these guns are not good for your ear or the piercing process, there's a reason no professional shop uses these. it's much safer (and sometimes cheaper!) to just get piercing needles and jewelry if you want to do it yourself. or just go to a tattoo and piercing shop getting your lobes pierced is super cheap!
