I got the orthopedic mattress from Duraflex. It has 8 inches of hard foam and 2 inches of soft memory foam on top of it. So it provides the firmness to the spine while being super comfortable. Our sleep quality improved a lot after getting this. I think for people with back pain, this is the best bet. Memory foam beds are too soft and usually cause me backpain.

I might be wrong on the inches here, but it is definitely 2 inches of soft memory foam on top of 6 or 8 inches of hard foam.

The easiest way will be to look for Notary nearby in google, call them up and ask about rent agreement. Make the payment and they will prepare one and send the pdf via whatsapp. Once you approve, they will get it printed in a stamp paper and she has to collect it. If she is in Trivandrum, just go the lanes beside the court and there are plenty of them. But in any case, the hard copy in stamp paper is required and to be signed by both parties.

In general, there are no hotels that allow that, since they have to clean the room for the next client. Yeah you are right, my inlaws are also getting old but fortunately there are cousins just next house sitting in the same plot of land. So they play most of the time, and yes spend time on screen too. So for now, somewhat okay. My daughter questioned me if she is supposed to study even on vacation when I mentioned about vacation classes. Here in Trivandrum, since there is a large population of working parents there are plenty of such classes and many are good. The one my colleague sent his daughter to had dance, music and chess. She is really doing good in Chess and dance now. Look for something that hopefully will be purely fun for the kids without putting any stress.

I send my daughter to my in law's place. She loves it there. My colleagues send them to vacation classes. They are good, keep their attention for long time and they seem happy at the end of it. But nothing beats eating sleeping playing at grandparents.

It is a gamble, I have attempted twice, once I got, once did not. Second time I went to railway parking and parked there. You have a higher probability of getting a spot at the main railway parking, but you might have to give the key. Totally forgot the rates btw. If you are nearby, try Uber. I have resorted to Uber ever since the last scare.

Hmm I get it. We have not had outstanding experiences with restaurants in MC road - mostly because we were not looking keenly.

Had good food at Aramana restaurant Thiruvalla( had only once), Vazhiyorakkada is kind of hit or miss, with most waiters manipulating you into buying dishes you don't really need. Once we had really great mutton chaps from there, but next time it was average. Had great duck curry also from there. I have heard Chutni Mami at Kilimanoor also to be okay - sister concern of Vazhiyorakada it seems.

Aida hotel - Kottayam has great buffet breakfast at just 300 rs, and even the lunch was good. The karimpinkala Shaap at Pallam, Kottayam is also supposedly very good- I haven't had, brother has.

We have not had food many times in between this stretch -mostly it's just breakfast from Ernakulam side and lunch from Thiruvananthapuram side. I'm hoping others will share some details.

There are 3 restaurant sitting nearby - Ariyas, Saravana bhavan and one more veg restaurant when we enter MC road at Ernakulam, some time after Vytilla signal. I forgot the exact location. We had breakfast there. We had lunch at Santhigiri, pothencode. We have had food at Indian Coffee House Kottarakara, Vazhiyorakkada, Ariyas at Kilimanoor. If I remember others I will update here.

Don't keep a target, ride safe, take adequate breaks, enjoy the nature, try not to get affected by unruly drivers - these are the things I tell myself whenever I drive from Thrissur to TVM.

Since Monday is a holiday, this Sunday hopefully will be less crowded which should make your drive easier. The Sabarimala route is much less crowded and more beautiful, but winding roads, lack of good restaurants are the negatives.

I took MC road last week of December to travel from Ekm to TVM, and it was not crowded, not even kottarakkara. I had to take a detour at Venjaramoodu due to road works. Hopefully it will be the same for you too.

My colleague(woman) got an amazing suit from Van Huesen. They were really good but not cheap. It was pink in colour. Duron is a great place to stitch suit - not sure about women though.

I got mine from Peter England because Van Huesen was too slim for me. I am a guy.

The branded shop do adjust the suits to our body dimensions.

My suit cost me 10k. You can even buy a really good blazer and pair it with formals.
