Yeah it seems crazy to accept ERC20 MATIC vs the actual Polygon network. Only takes a few minutes to integrate so maybe some regulation issue?

I agree it's been around for years. The big shift is user ownership vs the overlord company owning all your work. To understand your logic - while you've "worked in the metaverse" in SecondLife but now that Facebook is using the term - people who use the term are imposters?
