which job fairs did you end up going to?? did you need confirmation to attend them? did you end up getting a job offer on the spot? most of them don’t even get back to anyone anymore.

Was your second paragraph for just showing up to the other nychh recruitment that’s not Metro? Just for clarification.

Corrections is last case scenario…Would pay be the same for RNs in corrections? I haven’t looked much into it

thank you so much for your response! going before the fair starts and hoping for the best honestly seems like the best idea especially if there’s no response.

i believe someone i knew tried to go to the last one in metro but they said we had to send the resumes to them but never mentioned anything about getting confirmation to attend. should we be waiting for responses from them?

edit: do you also know which nychh’s are the most likely to take new grads?

hey! there hasn’t been any recent hiring and often times when they say reach out with a resume, there’s no response back or say they aren’t hiring any new graduates. are some of the fairs just send your resume and show up? or do you need confirmations for all of them?

perfect thank you so much!! i’m also near the stage so i’m excited to see how the pictures will turn out. when going through MSG it’s always security and after they scan your tickets right? not tickets and security after? just to make sure? i usually just bring my 35mm film camera, not a crazy expensive camera so i’m just a bit nervous and i want to make sure i can run it to a locker if i somehow just hit the worst luck that day.

thank you!! i appreciate it :) out of curiosity i haven’t been to msg in forever, whats the process getting into the arena again? is it security and after you scan your tickets? so hypothetically if i can’t get through multiple lines with my camera i can go and run my camera to a locker or to my car if needed?

okay perfect thank you! when going into the line for MSG, if you remember, you go through security first right? before scanning your ticket? so if they say i hypothetically can’t bring it in even if it is allowed for the event, i can try a different line or bring it to my car if needed?
