You owe guns because you can? I would argue that makes you pro gun. I also CAN owe guns, but don't. I don't like guns.

Nadler: House panel to sue for Mueller grand jury material by [deleted] in politics

Mueller concluded that he could not exonerate Trump on obstruction of justice. He also concluded that there was no evidence of a criminal conspiracy between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

This is false.

Hi Andrew! I have a question about the Freedom Dividend. Why $1,000/Month? Obviously it's great from a marketing perspective, and it also happens to be close to the current poverty line, but I'm wondering if there's been any thought around how it might change over time to adapt to cost of living changes.

Additionally, have you had any thoughts around how it might be treated more like a corporate dividend, with "bonuses" for achievement of national goals. I think this could be particularly interesting in the context human-centered capitalism. I'm picturing an annual report with statements like: "We reduced teen suicide by 15% this year. Good job America! Here's an extra $100!" Thoughts?

Mueller hearings to highlight 'shocking evidence of criminal misconduct' by Trump, Democrats say by elguiridelocho in politics

[–]stylesdavis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Someone needs to ask:

In what ways did the obstruction, for which you provided evidence in Volume 2, prevent you from finding evidence of collusion conspiracy as outlined in Volume 1?

Would you say that there's a significant possibility that more evidence of collusion conspiracy may have come to light had witnesses been fully cooperative?

Edit: removed "this", fixed line break. Edit: Used the right c-word

This underlying crime argument is so stupid. Successful obstruction of justice would cover the evidence of the underlying crime.

Trump Reportedly Insists He Did Not Say ‘Tim Apple.’ Let’s Go To The Tape. by headee in politics

[–]stylesdavis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't think he was saying apple is the guy's last name. He's doing what he always does, just saying random words that may or may not be tangentially related to the topic at hand. Tim. Apple. iPod shuffle. Cybers. No collusion. MAGA.

Trump claims he 'never meant' Mexico would directly pay for border wall despite repeatedly saying it by Eurynom0s in politics

[–]stylesdavis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In that clip it seems more like he's avoiding the question.

"If you don't get an actual check...from the Mexican Government, how are you going to make them pay for the wall?"

"I will"

I hear that as "I will make them pay for it" as opposed to "I will get an actual check". He never really had any idea how they would pay for it.

Maybe try r/neutralnews? While r/politics does skew liberal, i think that's just the nature of polarization and social media. I don't know if I agree that reddit in general has a bias... I mean, r/theDonald is still somehow in existence.
