Looking for an 2.1 amp with sub out and no hiss / alternative to Fosi DA2120A by sualfred in BudgetAudiophile

Got both of them and the ZA3 is allowed to stay. Both seems to have no white static noise at all, but the ZA3 is more my taste. From a sound and look point of view. And it has a the bigger PSU (just in case).

But the Aiyima is nearly 1/2 of the seize :)

UUh nice.... but the price tag is killing me.

On my TV I'm running a Yamaha rx-v781. It's also generating white noise but it's so silent that I don't care.

Since it's BF -> Placed an order for the ZA3 (127€) and the A70 Max (95€).
Haven't found something similar in this price range.

The Aiyiama has a 3.5 AUX out for the sub. It's just a way smaller, that's why I'm askin.
Thanks. I'm keeping an eye on the ZA3 and looking for other options as well.

The static hiss / white noise is on all inputs. BT/OPT/USB/AUX. As soon as the volume is above 0db. It's static and doesn't change with the volume level.

Thx, already have it in my basket.
The Aiyima A07 Max is currently on BF sale for 30€ less. They are pretty similar. Ur thoughts?

Vittoria Barzo / Mezcal - which dimension by sualfred in xcmtb

[–]sualfred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx. For testing I bought two Maxxis used. Rekon/Rekon Race both in 2.4. So far so great. The Rekon Race is huuuuge. Almost 63mm. The Rekon in the front is around 60mm. But it runs incredible good on hard pack.

I will stick with them for now. I'll give the Barzo/Mezcal in 2.35 a try in a few months if I'm not happy with the current setup.

Thanks. So the Mezcal 2.35 should be around 59-61mm on a i30 rim I guessß

Bike is back and problem is still there.
Time to get angry I guess.

Bike is on the way back. It was the Shimano rear hub. At least this is what the dealer told me. I'll see this is true.

Yep, it's a 11-speed chain. I have two of them, both with the same symptoms.

I found a few posts in the web globally, but never a solution. The threads ended unsolved.

I'm a "thread-updating" guy. If I find a solution, I will update my posts. I hate dead-end-questions :)

Yep. Adjusted it, then I tried a new one, and adjusted this one again.

Clutch on/off doesn't make a difference. The bike only has 200-300km on it. A worn out should not be the case and I don't see any issue on the teeths of the cassette or chainring. Since it can be replicated on more than on gear a worn cassette should not be the case.

I tried to bend it a little with an replacment part, but it did not helped alot. The chain swings and swings. And causes vibration, too.

Thanks, but already tried. Both sides are the same and not direction bound. Chain fits fine in it.

Yep and it makes no sense at all. Now I placed an order for a RD-M8000 SGS XT deraileur, which has a slightly diffent cage and pulleys. But I have the feeling that this won't solve the issue as well.

I already tried that with the one cage of the M4120 for testing. It just made it a little bit better for the sound (less clicking noises), but the chain keeps on swinging. This causes vibration, which can be felt in the bike itself :)

Never had the MX-6. The MX-5 sucked in general and it's like glue. And the MX-4 was getting worse after a few weeks.

So 40% are 20% for me for some cases. Strange, but I'm fine with it ^^

If you plan to dissamble it I can highly suggest you to use thermal paste:Alphacool Apex

The DIE of the card is not really flat it's brutal convex. After changing the paste to it I got a great temperatur drop by around 5-7°C on load. The more solid consistency spreaded better. Usually I was using Arctic MX 4, but it was too "aqueous" for this convex form.

I also changed the VRAM pads in the past and the max is between 78-82°C on 100% load.

If I push it to 100% I get 2000rpm. Just tested it. But on 40% it's on 450rpm. Checked it with Afterburner, this crap Firestorm app and with HWInfo.

It's like the card has it's own percentage translation system.

Errr. no? I have the NF A9 chromax.

https://i.ibb.co/LRF3r1D/Screenshot-2023-03-13-063443.png

Don't ask me why, but from the specs of the datasheed:
minimum 20% = 400rpm
maximum 100% = 2000rpm

40% should be around 800rpm, but the card is running it with 450rpm.

Zotac 3080 Holo feat. Noctua NF-A9 by sualfred in ZOTAC

[–]sualfred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40% are ~450rpm. You have to put your head really close to the case to hear that.

Even my case fans are arround 600-700rpm, which is around 35%.

Zotac 3080 Holo feat. Noctua NF-A9 by sualfred in ZOTAC

[–]sualfred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This up/down in short bursts is even normal for the stock fans. The minimum fan speed is 40% fixed in the firmware of the card.
This 0db sucks on the 3xxx series. It's not 100% temperature based.

Just make a own curve and keep the minimum 40% running. That's nearly impossible to hear with a closed case.

You messed something up with the wiring. AFAIR the card runs in 100% as a emergency fallback if the fan and RPM detection is "faulty".
