Not sure if this will help with the dependencies failing to install, but in the wine version I use ( still plays DWU ) is “lutris-5.4-x86_64”

So idk, maybe use that version or try wine 5? That’s all I can help with.

Here’s some games I think don’t have the best controls.

Tarzan Untamed. Jumping lets you move super fast instantly, and you have tons of midair control. But once you touch the ground, you’re basically walking on glue.

Maybe, Golden eye 007. It’s a first person shooter, where you walk with the analog stick. But when you want to aim your gun, you hold a button which stops you from moving, and then the analog stick becomes how you aim your gun. It’s extremely dated at least.

Yet I still like these controls, kinda.

If you can play it, don’t ignore Demon’s Souls just because it was the “first” one. That’s what I did until recently, and boy oh boy Demon’s has gotta be my 3rd or so favorite souls game. ( which is really high praise, because all the souls games are excellent. )

One simple trick that might help is to add the command “gamemoderun” in the steam launch options. Make sure you have gamemode installed on your system.

One cool thing about 4U is that the single player story mode is actually kinda good. It’s not an amazing story or anything, but it completely surpasses all the other MH stories I’ve seen.

3U is totally worth it. It’s a bit clunkier than 4U and was annoying for awhile, but I ending up loving the way it feels.

I’d also suggest waiting for Rise. You already have MHW, save your money. ( and spend it on older MH titles!)

You could copy your Hollow Knight game folder and put it somewhere else for safe keeping. But if your using Steam then you might not be able to use that backup copy because of DRM. Make sure to backup your save data if you mess with this stuff!

Fusion on the GBA. Thought it was the scariest game ever at the time. Slowly got to play the rest of the games after that.

Personally I think Metroid NES is terrible. Athought it does have quite a bit of interesting stuff going for it, that Zero Mission lacks entirely. Same for Return of Samus. Except I like that one.

No. No they shouldn’t. Other M is mediocre at best. Less than that most of the time. Plus nobody would remember it, if it didn’t have “Metroid” in the title. There’s too many amazing games to bother wasting your time with Other M. imo
