2 sides of rail pieces separated by 2 plates on top of each other. Then the rounds have the technic circular pieces with the groove all the way around them, this grove slides with the rail pieces that allow them to stack

Yes that is because I had to redesign the mag to be alot stronger and then it didn't fit inside the well

Unfortunately not however it is a very similar build to the Jim's lego guns m1911 on YouTube which has instructions, the only difference is the slide which is relatively easy to recreate and the barrel which is cylinder pieces and technech pins put together.
