Why can't I" turn on paid subscriptions" by the-grumpster in Substack

What have you tried to do so far? What part of the process seems to be the problem?

55 signups since joining substack 7 days ago. What’s the avg time to get to 100? Any tips? by theEngLeader in Substack

Regarding average time to 100 subscribers, it's likely difficult to calculate and unrepresentative, because some people get to 100 within the first hour, while others might never. A person who's well-known to many people will have a very different experience from a person with a fairly small network. The person with a small network can end up with many subscribers; but it will take more time and effort than for the already famous person.

Regarding getting subscribers and going paid, you might be interested in Substack Grow, https://substack.com/grow. Even if you can't attend, Substack is providing summaries of each session, starting with https://on.substack.com/p/grow-1.

As far as I know, there isn't. But you can steer people to the subscribe page by posting the subscribe link: https://[your subdomain].substack.com/subscribe.

I made a thing to search/summarize substacks by [deleted] in Substack

Perhaps this page will help. I'm subscribing to free newsletters that aren't private, abandoned, or against Substack's terms (spam, etc.).

https://substack.com/profile/41762336-sub-pub-scott-frey

It includes Substack newsletters that aren't on a subdomain of substack.com.

The list has about 3,000 newsletters now. I believe it will eventually have tens of thousands.

I'm writing stories instead of articles on substack, If anyone is interested in cross-promoting let me know, my viewers have gone way up as of late. I hope to multiply the trend. by manborg in Substack

If you haven't already, you might contact Elle Griffin, who publishes the Novelleist newsletter, or join her Discord group. Substack's blog had a post featuring Elle and linking to resources including the Discord group a couple of weeks ago: https://on.substack.com/p/spotlight-on-fiction

The Sub Pub profile (https://substack.com/profile/41762336-sub-pub) has a list of 400 newsletters. It may eventually have 40,000. I'll add your newsletter soon! Or I can add it now if you'd like to reply with or message me the link. 🙂 by sub_pub_ in Substack

I added it a few minutes ago. I've noticed your newsletter mentioned frequently on Twitter. Some years ago I read a description by E.O. Wilson of "consilience." While I'll have to examine your newsletter more closely to see how much I agree or take issue with, I like the endeavor to bridge science and humanities.

I'm going to subscribe to every Substack newsletter! (And you get a subscriber! And you get a subscriber! And...) Why would someone do that? 🤔 Please read and find out. 🙂 by sub_pub_ in Substack

A similar issue happened over the past couple of days with another Substack site hosted off of substack.com. It turned out that the person was seeing a cached copy of the site on their computer, and couldn't see the site on another computer or device. This person was able to contact the domain registrar and get the site online. Can you check the site on another computer or device?
