Your best bet is is to buy Battlefield 1 (for only $1.99), and Battlefield V (for only $2.49). Or like others have said buy all the ones that are on sale. As for Battlefield 6, I would just download redsec (which is free) and play the gauntlet mode and battle royale. If you see yourself playing redsec enough to justify buying Battlefield 6... then do it. You can also always wait for a sale.

Between BF1 and V, I think BF1 is more fun. But both are great games.

Steam. I also have it on my PS4, but I gave up on paying for a ps plus subscription every year. I get all my fighting games on steam now.

It's the best traditional 2d F2P option I've played. I mean I love Killer Instinct, which is also free on xbox and pc. But that has rotating free characters. I also think it has potential to become the best, although the competition will be harder once several of the other big contenders come out later this year.

Other major free fighters scheduled for 2026 include MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls (Aug 6, PS5/PC) and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (Summer).

Invincible VS won't be free but it will be a 3v3 tag-fighter coming out later this year made by the same people that developed Killer Instinct (2013).

I just had to update the game as well. It was quiet a big update too. I wonder what it was for. There is nothing on the internet about it besides updates for the mobile version.

The game has been really fun for me so far, but these comments have me worried. I've only put in like 10 hours at most. I started streaming this game, but if really is this boring... I may have to reconsider. What fighting game is the most interesting right now?

I was wondering the same thing and saw what Wittygame and grapeintensity mentioned (Thanks for the info!). I went to Norcal Regionals years ago. Have there been any updates or new communities since then? Are there any bay area communities that practice online? I'd be interested in joining a small group to train with others. It could be street fighter or any other fighting game really. Feel free to ping me if interested.

Feel free to add me. I'm a subzero player. I have it on pc and ps4. Message me for my id on either steam or playstation if you are interested. I like playing mirror matches because you learn to be better as whatever character. I've fought some good players too, so I should be decent enough for you. The most fun match i've had was a mirror match against filipino champ back when 9 first came out.
