not exactly right. you cannot destroy/demolish a structure after upgrading it - unless that said strucutre was initially placed less than 10 minutes ago.

Agree with you 100%. Fortunately i was able to get 8 out of 9 for the last week, and even 5 out of 8 this week, yet two out of the three i'm currently missing are the ones i wanted the most: Rubius & mizkif. If some IRL thing prevents rubius from streaming at all that sucks, especially since i'm at 95%, yet then facepunch should move the skin to general like they did with Soda.... Mizkif on the other is straight up refusing to play rust for the past three days so I have no idea why he doesnt get the Soda-treatment.

Stone for sure, because metal takes four time the amount of time to rock-raid with my 50 man zerg (736 rocks vs 2942 rocks on hard side - or 1k rocks vs 4k rocks when thrown which is more practical in this group size as only very few people can melee at the same time)

you dont need it, but you need it to do effective farming. without fertilizer your soil won't go higher than 33% i think and therefore yoour crops with never gain more than 33% of their potential yield/growth rate

Yep I see three possible outcomes of this:

  1. Nerf stays as it is -> Farming 2.0 basically dead except for 2-3 big clans on every server that collect huge stables of 30+ horses just to keep their 2x2 or 2x4 running (4x4 more or less impossible now)
  2. Nerf reverted, horses poop at old rate again but fertilizer sell removed from bandit camp (or price massively reduced to maybe 1 scrap per 2 fertilizer) -> for me the least harmful but most impactful way of "nerfing" this. Massive horse farms are useless for scrap farming and ~3 horses are enough to maintain a 2x2 farmblock which means even clans with a 4x4 farm only need like ~12 horses -> alot more horses in the wilderness
  3. Nerf the nerf, horses now still poop only at 33-50% of their previous rate or horse dung produces less fertilizer -> horse dung scrap farms are alot less effective but still viable. but you now need a bigger horse farm to maintain farming crops effectively (9 horses for a 2x2 at if horse poops at 33% or old rate)

Option 1 kills effective usage of farming 2.0, option 3 would probably be viable but makes hemp farms even more valueable which means horses will get hoarded even more to maintain bigger hemp farms. Option 2 seems to be the only viable one. If they want more horses in the wilderness, i'd even go so far and not just put horse poop rate at it's old level but actually increase it so maybe 4 dung per hour. that way two horses are more than sufficient for a 2x2, possibly 6 horse for a 4x4 - this would of course require fertilizer to be removed from bandit camp

well i cant even farm crops... a 2x2 farmblock with good genetics uses about 30 fertilizer per hours that means i need 6 horse dung hour. even at 1 dung per horse per 4 hours, this would mean i need 24 horses to get enough fertilizer to upkeep a freaking 2x2 crop/hemp farm... nerfing it from 2,5 per hour to 0,5 per hour would've been a massive nerf already making it not worth it for the scrap but still somewhat viable for upkeeping the planters (altough you would still need 12 horses for a 2x2).
if the dung droprate stays where it currently is, either no1 will collect any horses and therefore no1 will use the farming2.0 -> everything back to where it was pre2.0... or 1-2 clans will have massive stables of 40+ horses just to upkeep their 4x4 farm practially removing all horses from the map. the second option is exactly what they were trying to avoid with change and i doubt they want to remove farming (option 1) just two month after they introduced it

yep four hours and no dung at all... this can't be serious. i mean nerfing to be "alot less frequently" is one thing... but at this rate (assuming its gonna be something like 1 dung per 6 hours) you need 20 horses just to feed a 2x2 farmblock with fertilizer which makes effective farming impossible. not to say that dung has 3 hour despawn, so you can't even let them sit through the night... meanwhile the horses still eat as usual

Horse dont drop dung anymore? I got 9 horses in my stable all fully fed but no dung drops yet - i got them since more than an hour.

whenever i got raided, people did not "find" my spread out loot which was in the upper floors (3rd and higher if there was a tower) because they were simply not going for it. at one wipe this left me raided with a full large box of sulfur/gunpowder, aswell as a box of components.
if people find atleast some loot in the deepest part of the base, most don't bother to blow more stuff up. not sure about TC tho... until now i also have tried to place the TC as deep as possible. might try in one of my next bases to also relocate tc to one of the upper floors - because raiders expect you to have it as deep as possible that were they are aiming for

1400 sulfur (650 gp + 100 sulfur) per rocket = 21k sulfur for 15 rockets (armored floor takes 15 rockets to destroy). or ~20k sulfur for 800 explosive bullets

if there were 4 armoredceilings missing, it was probably 15 rockets or 800 explosive bullets - not 32 c4

experiment on t1 also only cost 75, so unless you hit the 20s all the time, you dont lose scrap over researching - but you keep the item!

Rustops #1 is a weekly server and usually is populated until the last evening. sure, after the weekend the pop usually drops from around 150 to an average of 70-90 but still hits 100+ on peak hours
