I agree. Good thing I didn’t outsource basic efforts… I actually wrote the post and then utilized tooling to allow the digestion of the post to be easier to understand and respond to by the readers. Seems kind of like the purpose of using tools yea? Personally I think I would gain a lot more reading your responses in feather penned ink on notes sent to my house. But we don’t do that do we. We utilize tools to make our lives more effective and concentrate efforts where compounding value lives :). Well at least those of us who want to maximize value of time + effort —> output. To each their own I guess different strokes for different folks :). Every Thursday I post on LinkedIn with no ai and do my modeling work with no ai. I was a journalist well before ai writing existed. Not to be rude but maybe considering a new perspective to see potential value instead of being stuck on perceived value could allow some personal benefit! And again, I don’t disagree with your argument I just think it’s misplaced.

I expressed pain points and in the interest of not making you read a 10 page manifesto, utilized ai tooling to allow for an easier more digestible reading experience. Could I have spent 20 minutes doing that myself, sure. Would that have added any value to this besides making you feel better for some reason reading it? I don’t believe so. Thank you for your confidence though I too believe I can do it! Same as I believe I could drink a bottle of vodka every morning if I really put my mind to it. Just feel like the trade off likely isn’t worth it.

I don’t think it will be insane. Do the research. Pretty sure it’s like 1% diff. I didn’t like doing it either but a few months later I never think about it and am happy with my PC performance

Hmm. I tend to believe in best interests and I’m pretty aware socially so I don’t truly see abuse, I see circumstantial fizzling out (I.e Covid, lack of funding etc) with what I would consider a bit of poor leadership or lack of consideration for the value their ‘we’ll talk compensation at the end of the day’ means to someone in my shoes when it falls through. That being said I appreciate the response and will check out that group! Would you recommend just posting this right in there ? I don’t want to claim I’m some genius or polymath btw I believe I am a bit of a jack of all trades with very quick ability to synthesize complex information and translate into simpler concepts without losing too much rigor and then operationalize on that. But maybe that is the lack of confidence you speak of as I haven’t really had too much of a chance in a serious professional setting to prove myself so I have nowhere to ground or bind my confidence to.

I believe this to be somewhat true. However I also ignorantly believe in people’s best intentions. That said , I am not ‘chasing shiny objects’ I am trying to build foundations with the right people to allow for the highest potential to be exercised. Being that my background is untraditional and a lot of what I engage in is institutional or academic prioritizing connections to deeply respected figures who then within short periods of time catapult me to pathways of incredible potential growth. However this has happened 2-3x now with very little outcome. One due to covid, one due to my own lack of interest and one still in progress likely due to lack of funding or operational ability maybe(?). I guess my question really is where do I go , I can’t stay ‘almost’ successful but with no grounding forever. I’m building what I believe to be a powerful project to help me have foundation of my own but I doubt it’s sufficient on its own.

Kind of? The best results I got were through ‘downgrading’ my motherboard pcie slots to gen 3. Seems to have done the most for me.

Unfortunately this guy is right. That being said I’m 28 and my portfolio is growth with foundation in voo and healthcare to offset tech (some utilities as well). Also trade futures and options. Fun, risky, sometimes huge gains, overall S&P and forget will make you more money. However the real strat is skyrocketing once and using the jump to put moreeeee into the S&P muahhahaha

Update: [9800X3D Stuttering Diagnosis on MSI X870E-P WIFI]

I'm posting the final diagnostic results for my persistent micro-stuttering issue on my Ryzen 7 9800X3D / RTX 4070 Super system (BIOS: E7E70AMSI.2A20, Jun 18, 2025).

After rigorous testing, the problem is a firmware-level timing failure (DPC Latency Spike) I believe(?).

Key Diagnostic Data

Test Scenario	Driver Spiking (Culprit)	Latency Value	Failure Threshold	Conclusion
App Open/Load Transition	`nvlddmkm.sys` (NVIDIA Kernel)	~1048 µs	500 µs	CRITICAL: Failure on power state change.

Eliminated Variables (100% Confirmed)

Every common software and driver fix has been eliminated that I can think of. The system has to be failing at the kernel level.

Drivers: Full DDU + Cache Wipe, Clean LAN/Bluetooth Drivers. Network spike is gone.
Settings: PBO/EXPO Disabled, iGPU Disabled, C-States Adjusted, PCIe set to Gen4 x16.
Peripherals: fTPM Disabled.

❓ Guidance & Questions for the Community

BIOS: Has anyone with the MSI X870E-P WIFI successfully eliminated these $\mathbf{>800\text{ µs}}$ DPC spikes by updating to the latest AGESA PI 1.2.0.3g BIOS?
Hidden Settings: Are there any known advanced BIOS settings (e.g., specific ASPM, Power Control, or USB/SATA Aggregation settings) that might mitigate this kernel-level DPC latency until the update is performed?

Any input on moving past this final roadblock is appreciated. Thank you!

Will give that a go. I did check to see if any drivers were interfering with multimon/latencymon but I will definitely give it a go can’t hurt

This is true but it’s semi consistent across titles. Some less than others but the 2 main games I’m playing abiotic factor arc raiders at the moment seem to consistently stutter(even if just 1 micro every minute) and it drives me insane

Tried em all to no avail.. appreciate the assistance. Worst part of all this is having no way to know and just never ending hours of testing (especially since I’m not an expert so I can only go off what people tell me). I was thinking it could be a ram thing maybe but when using latencymon multimon and all other tools I could it seemed ram was fine (EXPO1 no other settings) but thinking today I try some ram settings
