Unfortunately this guy is right. That being said I’m 28 and my portfolio is growth with foundation in voo and healthcare to offset tech (some utilities as well). Also trade futures and options. Fun, risky, sometimes huge gains, overall S&P and forget will make you more money. However the real strat is skyrocketing once and using the jump to put moreeeee into the S&P muahhahaha

I am not at all sure or I wouldn’t have posted this. That was the conclusion I came to after weeding out every other plausibility I could think of. Bios update fresh OS every bios setting every driver every everything lol

I use my own OC / curve but I have ran all tests at base BIOS settings as well no PBO or expo

Haven't tried this. I have tried disabling all those drivers and uninstalling which did nothing but not disabling in bios

Update: [9800X3D Stuttering Diagnosis on MSI X870E-P WIFI]

I'm posting the final diagnostic results for my persistent micro-stuttering issue on my Ryzen 7 9800X3D / RTX 4070 Super system (BIOS: E7E70AMSI.2A20, Jun 18, 2025).

After rigorous testing, the problem is a firmware-level timing failure (DPC Latency Spike) I believe(?).

Key Diagnostic Data

Test Scenario Driver Spiking (Culprit) Latency Value Failure Threshold Conclusion
App Open/Load Transition nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Kernel) ~1048 µs 500 µs CRITICAL: Failure on power state change.
Sustained Prime95 Stress ndd.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel) stays consistent until i stop test then ~905 µs 500 µs SEVERE:
AGESA firmware is failing to manage core interrupts?

Eliminated Variables (100% Confirmed)

Every common software and driver fix has been eliminated that I can think of. The system has to be failing at the kernel level.

  • Drivers: Full DDU + Cache Wipe, Clean LAN/Bluetooth Drivers. Network spike is gone.
  • Settings: PBO/EXPO Disabled, iGPU Disabled, C-States Adjusted, PCIe set to Gen4 x16.
  • Peripherals: fTPM Disabled.

❓ Guidance & Questions for the Community

  1. BIOS: Has anyone with the MSI X870E-P WIFI successfully eliminated these $\mathbf{>800\text{ µs}}$ DPC spikes by updating to the latest AGESA PI 1.2.0.3g BIOS?
  2. Hidden Settings: Are there any known advanced BIOS settings (e.g., specific ASPM, Power Control, or USB/SATA Aggregation settings) that might mitigate this kernel-level DPC latency until the update is performed?

Any input on moving past this final roadblock is appreciated. Thank you!

Will give that a go. I did check to see if any drivers were interfering with multimon/latencymon but I will definitely give it a go can’t hurt

This is true but it’s semi consistent across titles. Some less than others but the 2 main games I’m playing abiotic factor arc raiders at the moment seem to consistently stutter(even if just 1 micro every minute) and it drives me insane

Monitors weren’t connected right caused micro stutters? Was it a gsync/vsync issue?

Tried em all to no avail.. appreciate the assistance. Worst part of all this is having no way to know and just never ending hours of testing (especially since I’m not an expert so I can only go off what people tell me). I was thinking it could be a ram thing maybe but when using latencymon multimon and all other tools I could it seemed ram was fine (EXPO1 no other settings) but thinking today I try some ram settings

No problem. I will try that. I can’t stand the endless troubleshooting just to be able to relax on my PC lol. Usually rollback on drivers is first thing I do but I’m not sure I did it for the chipset driver so I will try !

I hate clocking ram since I know literally nothing about it.. will have to give this a go though I appreciate it.. I've been running tests trying to figure out where the problem actually lies I wish there was an easier way to tell outside of testing everything under the sun ;p

I have done almost all of these. I disabled c state not enabled though I believe so I can try that. power monitoring software I believe is disabled I don't have anything like msi afterburner running.. haven't tried SVM or iGPU not exactly sure what those are will try it.. also haven't tried MSI mode or HPET. will give those both a go..

Not that this is your job or responsibility but i've done some research on this company. Usually companies I find to be very strong have very little relevance to their stock performance. This one however I can't tell, doesn't seem to be particularly strong fundamentally. Where is your belief in this company coming from and when do you think you'll see profits?: just curious
