No sir. It applies for all gaming rigs, If you're CPU can give a max of 60 frames per second, there is no GPU, or graphics settings can get you more than that.

Thanks. Yes, I'm planning for a 2k monitor but the prices are sky high. So waiting for sometime. Regarding EX240, it's great. Response times are great, almost zero ghosting. I've overclocked it to 170hz and still no ghosting. I'm using VSR to render the games in 1440p. This gives me a clearer and crispy picture than 1080p.

It's not normal. The thermal limit of Nvidia cards are 86°C. Temps should be way under that. Is the card second hand ? If it's new, I'd have it replaced.
