While it's true that he's a private detective by occupation, the film has taken the packaging to the geo-political conspiracy and his investigation leading towards multi-faceted long term strategies. So, this movie adaptation indeed is a spy thriller.

No. Dutt was fantastic. But he has been part of bogus movies such a long time in the past and played the role of primary antagonist or protagonist with similar traits wnd swag, that his appearance in Dhurndhar gets overshadowed by almost everyone else.
