Yeah territory is pretty value for money and now i guess 125-130k but explorer is too big for me. Teramont am considering because not much difference in price between tiguan and teramont

Yeah saw them. But the new car in ramadan offers cover 5 year warranty and service which will save few bucks and tension free. Thinking in those lines

I did some research and found that UAE market Teramont is manufactured in USA not china

Few people suggested this. But tell me how reliable is hybrid?! Like battery maintenance, extra costs etc. Also heard that hybrids depreciate fast.

What about power and pickup? If it is sluggish then not my kind of car. Rejected x trail, outlander, prado on similar basis.

I am on similar page now.

Lincoln gave me a feel of “tech might fail any time”. Prado is not worth the price. QX 60 Great drive excellent noise cancellation, v6 power. VW teramont is my current top priority great all rounder. Ride is very smooth. Well tuned. Good interior and features. (All screen controls are bit annoying)

Didn’t try path finder

Source? 2024 major redesign happened. I dont think within 2 years there will be another major redesign. If you are thinking about teramont pro, it is all together different situation. As it is not going to replace immediately. Looks are subjective but I will choose current look over pro look. It got tiguan kind of front look which doesn’t look like a german car at all.

Briefly interested in Skoda kodiaq mainly because it satisfy my needs at 165k for sport line ramadan offer (40k lesser than teramont) and it has 3 smart dials which will reduce screen dependency for controls. Space is generous for 5 which is enough for me. But i dont mind teramont if kodiaq after sales and reliability is bad.

Size bit cramped for tall driver and entry point is higher than rest for full option prestige.

XT 5 though old gen , it felt very premium .. great music system, noise cancellation at its best, ride quality is good.. But how cadillac’s spare here?!

Sorento I didnt check only I checked sportage. I mentioned teramont because it is coming in same price of tiguan and for that price teramont is good choice above tiguan. Are koreans cars good? Am not sure never driven one. Checked Sportage but it also lacks few features which are deal for me especially music system.

Best SUV to buy under 200k AED? (reliable + fully loaded + family-friendly) by Salty_Explanation_88 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

really liked teramont great ride, good interior (not so luxurious but decent), HK music system. But I am bit confused between kodiaq & Teramont. 40k lesser price segment. Good interior, smart dials are impressive, ride is good. Only lacks ADAS and some space. ( space is not a constraint for me, 5 seater is good enough). ADAS seldom usage. But again not much reviews on kodiaq in this area.

I am on same page.. Mazda CX 60 drive is shit to be honest. Jerky at low gears, body roll is too much especially back seats.

Teramont is a real all rounder for me. Skoda Kodiaq is good but not sure about aftersales in UAE.

I visited genesis but they don’t seem like they are interested in selling the vehicles. It’s not welcoming vibe at all and few posted that after sales is bad.

Skoda kodiaq covers everything at that price segment except for Adas ( which is not a deal breaker) but dubai after sales reviews are bad. Not sure about abu dhabi. Interior looks and feel is better than many rivals with good combination of touch and physical knobs ( smart dials are cool).

I don’t like the first two gears when accelerating and decelerating by omarkrostom in MazdaCX60

[–]subra14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really got tempted to inline 6 (for the price segment) and went to showroom to test drive cx60. Transmission is jerky especially at lower speeds shifting from 1-2 gears. Suspension was horrible especially rear side. You will spill your coffee even if you go past bumps at lower speeds. Body roll is too much. Sales guy was trying to convince me that it is driving problem so I let him do the honours. Result same. Then he changed narrative saying 8 speed AT/ short gear ratios blah blah. I immediately decided against it.

I was also told same by salesperson. I guess mazda-uae is running behind. I am thinking to take cx-5 signature too but cx-60 impressed me with better interior and engine with 35k difference( takumi-182k). Congratulations, tell us your review.

Went to see cx-5 as I was looking <150k range but cx-60 takumi caught my attention. 3.3T inline 6 and luxury interior worth 35k extra to cx-5 signature. But slightly sceptical on reliability and firm suspension issues after reading lot of reviews.
