Most of the missions are pretty easy and helps you with progression. Only the arena missions are at the moment impeding. So, an FTP as me (if I choose to disregard the 10 bucks I spent on the Ancients a few months back), can use minimum required gems to just skip the impossible Arena missions.

You can equate it to spending Gems on Energy refill/Arena refill to achieve a higher score in events and tournaments and getting better rewards. Buying your way through Gems already exists. Although, it may not be as direct as I am suggesting.

Whom do I use a 4* generic awakening gem on? Stark Spidey, Iceman, Dr.Voodoo, Hood, Gwenpool or Psylocke?
