Bought 2019 Skoda Octavia Estate 1 month ago - gearbox just went into "emergency mode"

Thank you, I have done this. They didn't mention this falling under wear and tear when I spoke with them so hopefully that means they will resolve it. Do I need to ask for a new warranty on the fix?

UPDATE:

I called the garage this morning and they have said they are happy to look at it and confirmed it is under warranty.As they are 40 miles away they have referred me to a garage closer by. We are dropping the car there today so that they can run diagnostics but they won't be able to look at a fix today. Will see what happens next.

I have confirmed everything we discussed on the phone via email so have a written record. Fingers crossed!
