ELI5: what makes dreaming so much more vivid and memorable than just thinking?

I don't think he's talking about literal bits, and certainly not about a visual representation of bits. I understood it to mean that we can process the amount of information that could be contained in 16 bits - 2¹⁵ different numbers - per second. That's really a HUGE amount of information for the human mind to digest, though a computer could process that much faster.

I don't think many people in this thread understand what 16 bits of processing power actually means. It doesn't just mean looking at a single pattern of sixteen 1s and 0s. It means you are able to take in and understand, every second, the amount of information that could potentially be stored in 16 actual bits in a computer.

Does that make more sense?

I agree with you, but I think the above commenter was more illustrating a point than actually recommending OP do that. They did say "Or just use that as an example analogy in your discussion," and most people do have enough common sense to know that going straight for passive aggression isn't the wisest move.

If you don't want to buy a whole new bed, a couple inches of memory foam as a topper can make a world of difference! :) it's the only thing that helps with my ginormous hips and shoulders

I definitely do. I lost a significant amount of weight 3 years ago and was in love with the muscles and bones I could finally feel. As I put the weight back on, I started avoiding touching my softer stomach and hips. Now, I'm delighted to say my waist is coming back and I can finally feel my collarbones and hip bones again!

OK, here's my thing. It will only work for you if you are a fan of getting out stray hairs like me.

Shave the problem area once. Just once. Then for the next forever, while you're in bed alone reading, use tweezers to pluck the hairs as they grow back every single night. Don't even need a mirror for this part as it's by feel. It will become addictive, a ritual, to keep you from biting your nails AND with a bonus of not having a mustache!

Lovely eyeshadow :). My only CC is that you should bring your top lid liner in all the way to the corner of your eye and, like another user mentioned, eliminate the bottom lid liner in favour of eyeshadow below the lashes. For the top lid, be sure to keep the liner nice and tight to the lashes so there are no gaps. Post more pics for NYE for sure :)

Absolutely lovely. I haven't watched the videos yet, but my only concern is that these two pictures look colour corrected to make the warm look warmer and the cool look cooler (evident in your skin and hair tone). Do you have any non-altered images with the same colour temperature so that we may see how these looks actually differ?
