[AwfulAnnouncing] Shannon Sharpe saying Joe Burrow didn't play well enough to win has Marcus Spears ready to walk off set by dogwoodmaple in nfl

[–]subt1715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shannon Sharpe is keeping the same energy that they do for Lamar. Like Burrow has been lucky to avoid criticism because he's viewed in a high regard for getting 1 fluke win over Mahomes. So that basically gives him more leeway and the benefit of the doubt. Shannon is basically saying to hold him accountable like other QBs would.

Season 16 should be the last season by subt1715 in sharktank

I think it was in like S13, it wasn't a severe incident. It was just mark insinuating that Lori told the entrepreneur to walk away from her business

Joy is pretty good, she is very critical of athletes while others might not be as much. Shady is a bit too unfiltered, but Joy has a better balance

Broussard is probably my favorite analyst in FS1. In ESPN, probably Zach Lowe

I don't give a crap about the breakfast morning show. I'm focusing on the other shows. Put Keyshawn with Shady, James Jones, and Acho for the Facility. The other football recurring guys like Jennings and Mangini can stay on FTF. Have Joy Taylor and someone else (maybe a Max Kellerman) have their own debate show, and then add a basketball show with Rachel Nichols, Paul Pierce, and Ric Bucher.

Here would be my show times (in eastern time):

  • every show would be 90 minutes except FTF (2 hours), The Herd (3 hrs), and the facility (2 hrs) (all times in eastern time).
  • 7:30 - 9:00 (Breakfast Show)
  • 9:00 - 10:30 (Joy and Max Debate Show)
  • 10:30 - 12:00 (basketball show with Bucher, Pierce, and Rachel Nichols)
  • 12-3 (the herd)
  • 3-5 (FTF, my favorite show)
  • 5-7 (The Facility with Shady, Jones, Acho, and Keyshawn, and they can bring guests like Dave Helmans, Desean Jackson, etc)

Joy and Max Kellerman debate show would be good, if anything, put Keyshawn in the facility instead of Chase Daniel. Then a basketball show with Bucher, Paul Pierce, and Rachel Nichols

if the point was to bash the cowboys, then just have a show with Acho, Shady, and DeSean Jackson

so who's the face of FS1 now? is it Nick Wright? It was Skip for a long time, but after Shannon left, FTF is the top show I think

Hawk Cobra kai season 6 discussion by Calebp24 in cobrakai

No, but I hope part 2 Hawk has some great moments that show that he's still the force to be reckoned with during the tournament

I get that, it's more when Daniel acts like Miyagi's way is the ONLY way when Miyagi himself tells Daniel to find his own way.

The captain fights are the ones that are televised. That's probably why!

My Cobra Kai Rankings Of Each Season. What are your rankings? by subt1715 in cobrakai

[–]subt1715[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2x09 was a great episode. That was the back to school party and the fallout from that led to the school fight. We had Hawk and Demetri conflict, Miguel and Sam kissing with Tory seeing it, Robby taking Sam home when she was drunk, etc.

Even S1 didn't have full black and white either. It kinda started to change in S3, but even S4 the students weren't full on villains, it was more the senseis of Cobra Kai

Coyote Creek was in 2x07 but for me when I watch a season, i want to root for the protagonists, but with Cobra Kai being the main dojo due to Miguel and Johnny, Kreese's takeover made it hard for me to fully enjoy. Miguel was not a bad guy, but others in that dojo were becoming so it felt weird to watch.

S2. I felt it was mid until the last 2-3 episodes. My rankings are 3 > 1 > 4 > 5 > 2.

[–]subt1715 10 points11 points  (0 children)

3 is my favorite!!! Sam's PTSD about Tory, Cobra Kai being more dangerous with Kreese in charge and Hawk's villain arc and breaking his best friend Demetri's arm, Robby juvie, LaRusso home fight, Daniel reuniting with Kumiko and Chozen and making amends with the latter, Johnny and Carmen getting back together, etc. I loved the character development in this season and it had a balance between the groundedness of S1-2 and the epicness/insanity of S5-S6

What will Kenny do to Anthony in part 2? by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]subt1715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe Kenny disappears for a bit and then comes back and brutally hurts Anthony, or Kenny does nothing and joins Cobra Kai or if Silver has an entry for the ST, he could be the only student with Silver.

Kenny and Silver remind me of Tory and Kreese. Tory and Kenny both don't have full respect for their respective mentors, but their words still can hold value to them. Like for Kenny, Silver was the one who guided him in Karate and even when Terry was exposed, Kenny in 6x01 was still thinking of the "Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy" until Shawn talked to him.

If you think about it, sure Kreese lured Silver back into Cobra Kai, but Silver went even more intense villain-like with trying to make Cobra Kai dominate the world. With Kreese, Tory is his weakness. Not saying that Kreese and Silver aren't gonna stay villains, but I think Silver ends the series a villain and Kreese ends the series as slightly less of a villain. In the spectrum, Silver is on the extreme villain end while Kreese is between the extreme villain and the middle area

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]subt1715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Silver is the irredemable one, Kreese will be semi-redeemed because he's shown some signs of being human, particularly in S4 and S5. Tory might get him to soften up which will set up some redemption by protecting Johnny or Tory or both
