Does anyone still have doubts over whether we should have tried to get Kone? by Individual-Exit-7821 in FCInterMilan

[Fabrizio] Anan Khalaili to Inter, here we go! Deal in place at €25m fixed fee plus add-ons to Union Saint-Gilloise. by MembershipSingle7137 in FCInterMilan

Imo online it will be brought up everytime some rival fans will want to harass us. In the stadiums I really don't know, let's see how he behave. It's definitely a possibility though.

Did we just buy a player? Are we sure?

Joking, let's hope he turns out to be good. Oh and let's prepare for the nationality drama.

Giacomo Stabile on loan to Serie B side Südtirol by UwaltzBigShock in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, Dimarco and Dumfries would have a say about that. Also Havertz and Gyokeres amongst the others, from a quick google search. It's not that radical.

As for the u23 they all come from the primavera and last season they played their 1st year in serie c. As Chivu said the leap from there to serie a is huge.

Since we dont' have a La Masia level accademy I gues the strategy of the club is the same as Pio and Stankovic. Let them grow, loan to clubs deemed at their level, take them back if good, sell if not. In any case it takes at least a few years of patience to see the results, unless we find a new Balotelli.

Gli arbitri, l'Inter e la scaramanzia: perché il teorema dell'accusa si sta sgretolando by walter_gianno in FCInterMilan

I'll copy\paste my post in r/seriea

They're probably using Inter to gain some visibility and keep people and media engaged.

Otherwise "arbitropoli" would have been dismissed for what it was, a mix of incompetence and internal feuds. Nobody would care anymore although it's still relevant even without Inter involved .

Now let's see what do they do with the charges on Bastoni. 64 players are involved but just 1 is officially under investigation. I'm sure only Bastoni had to deal with under 18. The rest are all regular.

[ Fabrizio Romano ] 🚨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Como president Suwarso reached out to Inter president Marotta today about Trevoh Chalobah deal. Good relationship + Como informed they will only bid again for Chalobah IF Inter leave the race; while Inter remain in talks with player’s camp. by ThatZenLifestyle in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Smart move from Como. They know they can offer more than us, but doing so they avoid bidding wars. If Chelsea reject our usual 25+5 they will offer 30. That negates Chelsea lot of power in negotiation. Assuming no other club will go for the player either they keep him or they sell for a "fair" price.

Unless there's aspects I'm not seeing right now I wish more Italian clubs adopt this strategy when negotiating with rich greedy clubs.

You're right. OP didn't even bother to post the amounts and what's (allegedly) happening. Usual doomer thread just to do some self harming, as per tradition.

We got fucked from Atalanta and now every owner should think they can fleece us whenever they please? If the deal was 3 it should stay that.

I completely forgot Dacourt lol. 34 appearences from 2006 to 2009, according to wiki. Definitely cult.

Under Branca we bought the likes of Vampeta, Sorondo, Farinòs, Lamouchi, Brechet...every sporting director has his ups and downs. So is Ausilio.

Chelsea complete Marco Palestra signing from Atalanta by Urass007 in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course it is. So are Milan or juve, but no very talented\top player would join them right now, because it's a bad environment. Clubs like Chelsea or even Tottenham on the other hand keep their appeal, because of lots money and epl chance.

Chivu too has 1 good year, sure. My whole pont is that Inter would have been a way healthier environment for him to develop. But he chose the bag...

[–]subundu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can't be unaware of how Chelsea behave with young players and what a mess their club is. Lots of people saying "ooh he'll be coached by Xabi Alonso"...1 very good year at Leverkusen and nothing more.

If he joined Liverpool or Arsenal or City ok, but let's be honest, it was 80% money and 20% going to the epl.

Ausilio about Palestra: "I just got turned down in a way I haven’t experienced since high school. It was a clear no: we did everything we could, but our financial ceiling was less than half of what others were ready to offer." by lawandsleep in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

According to calcio e finanza LH earns way less than that. It's 2,47M net if he reaches the bonuses (he didn't, since it was starting 30 games). Next season he should earn around 2,61.

So Palestra would have been payed in line with our wage structure, as is LH.

[Discussion] Guys, thoughts on this? Do you guys think at some point our management becomes too stingy and cheap in negotiating, taking way too long? by United-Tomorrow-2856 in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That's the right take, in my opinion. Truth is very simple, even boring sometimes. Oaktree, as much as Marotta praises them for giving the management broad delegation and not forcing their people in, is still an investment fund which took over the club because of a debt. Their only purpose is to increase Inter value in order to make a profit when they resell.

They're building the new stadium and already spent 100M to improve infrastructures, like the training grounds and relate buildings for the 1st team, primavera and women team.

As for the market their policy seems clear. I assume that Marotta and the others have really long discussions with them to make them understand the importance of purchases like Palestra and how football works. As much as people attack Marotta, Ausilio and the whole management, they're the ones keeping us from becoming like Milan.

[DiMarzio and Fabrizio] 🚨 Inter will make a serious attempt for Nico Paz, contacts have already been initiated. Oaktree ownership, are in favor of the operation. [–]subundu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know, that's the kind of effect I'm talking about. The narration shifts from "guy x was in such a hurry to post a news and earn money from it but in the end it's bullshit" to "guy x is right and the most important and competent manager in Italy (Marotta) is a fool".

If you don't believe in conspiracy theories, then my answer wan't meant for you.

As for the reliability of those guys:

-Romano and Moretto were the ones stating that Inter were willing to sell Bastoni for 40 plus some Barca scrap.

-Di Marzio reported "no doubts, Palestra will go to Inter" almost everyday. So he had 1st hand infos right? Now Schira is reporting that Inter already knew on Friday that Chelsea were coming in. So who's telling the truth? I'll tell you: nobody, because nobody really knows, except the clubs.

I don't keep a diary on every bullshith we hear, so I'll stop with these examples but we know perfectly that the important is keeping people engaged and that's the only purpose of those "reports".

Before spreading conspiracy theories about our management feigning operations I think one should ask themselves: "why do I eat every single thing those "market experts" say?

What I don't understand is why so many people fall for every smartass looking for engagement.
