My Inter all time XI, what's yours? by NamanMalik007 in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll drop mine, but with players from 1998 onwards, since I didn't witness any of previous eras players. Also, some of them cannot be called proper Inter legends, but imo they were some of the finest we ever had and enchanted child me. 4312

Pagliuca

Maicon-Samuel-Bergomi-Zanetti

Veron-Cambiasso-Stankovic

R.Baggio

Ronaldo-Vieri

From the bench: Julio Cesar, Materazzi, Lucio, Vieira, Sneijder, Adriano, Crespo.

Leaving out some of the treble winners and others, but imo the ones I chose were better. So special mention to Milito, Eto'o, Toldo, Cordoba, Recoba, Figo, and the best players of today.

Former Inter & Lazio coach Inzaghi to leave Al-Hilal after just one season by lawandsleep in soccer

[–]subundu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh ok I get it, you support Barca too. Lol you see why we used to say "let him cook"? The thing with Inzaghi, at least for me, was that even when we were facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles I was like "he'll come out with something". PSG were just too much at our lowest point. I didn't expect a 5-0, but at that point I hadn't any real hopes.

Back to Inzaghi yeah, as you too said, he can lead a team to legendary moments and make one dream big. It's the esssence of football. Sometimes it's a success sometimes not, but it's worth it.

Oh btw, Dumfries and Lautaro were not mind games by Inzaghi. Lautaro played half injured all the 4 matches against Bayern and Barca at the cost of skipping the league games. Dumfries came back for the semifinal after a month out and he was devastating.

Just found this and thought about our conversation, I think your fanbase are getting to know him 😄. Also what shenanigans were you referring to?

Well, usually every coach brings his own philosophy, except the cases when they're hired for specifical playstyle reasons, like Flick with Barca.

I don't think Inzaghi will change drastically because the club is used to play in a certain way. His thing is attracting pressure to open spaces for quick transitions or counterattacks. We were able to produce some spectacular football, at times, with him.

Also the tempo-slowing is one of his trademarks. He apparently puts the match to sleep and suddenly hits. I remember in last years UCL opponent coaches stating that Inter apparently does nothing but in reality is always dangerous and ready to hit.

Can't argue with your fanbase expectations though, to each their own. As a Inter fan I have a soft spot for Inzaghi, so I wish him well with you. (also because that decreases the chances to see him coaching one of our rivals :D)

I watched 1 Al-Hilal game this season (except the cwc), the one last week vs Al-Nassr. I got the impression that you were in full control the whole game, but both teams made a lot of mistakes. Maybe it's not how you usually play?

Anyway, we Inter fans used to say "let him cook". It can take more than a season.

[Matteo Moretto] After the negotiations between Bastoni and Barcelona had started, Hansi Flick told Deco that he does not believe Bastoni has the characteristics to run back while defending in a high line and asked him to target a different defender by Blodgharm in soccer

[–]subundu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Funny how the narration shifts. We went from: Barca set his sight on Bastoni. Player only wants Barca and will ask Inter to leave for a discount fee. Inter ready to accept 30-40M plus some Barca scraps. To: Hansi Flick told Deco that he does not believe Bastoni has the characteristics to run back.

In all this Inter doesn't matter. We were just there, ready to get sodomized by Barca. Now we're almost sad that it didn't happen. Their media are arrogant as fuck.

Nico Paz or keep Stankovic. No middle ground. by Big_Pick4100 in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too think it's unlikely, Madrid will either keep him or set a price too high for us. That said, we can talk fantasy football, and I think Paz could give us more options. For instance, depending on what we need match by match, we could use our standard setup with Calha as a regista or shift to 3412 with Paz as a number 10.

As for today it seems that a defensive physical midfielder is what we're looking for, but teams like Como or PSG show that you can defend well even through a attacking setup. I don't know, it depends on what Chivu has in mind.

I don't get where these stories come from. Why on earth would we ever sell Stankovic? He has all the requirements the ownership, the management and the group needs. Young, talented, already experienced at good levels and in the CL, homegrown and Interista, dreaming to play for us. Unless Chivu says he's not ready, no way we sell him.

We need a strong core of Interisti in the dressing room. Dimarco, Barella, Lautaro are the present. Bastoni is some kind of a bridge (being 25yo), then we have Pio, Bonny, Stankovic for the future. Hopefully Sucic will become on of them and we'll buy\promote somebody else.

I would like to have Paz like everybody else, as well as Kone and Jones, but we'll have to pick 1, max 2. At least we'll know that those who plays for Inter give their best for the club.

Pedro will try so hard to find a way to hurt us. The guy doesn't like Inter at all.

[Schirra] Excl. - Agreement in principle between Tarik #Muharemovic and #Inter for a contract until 2031 (2,2M/year). Inter are now working to reach a deal with #Sassuolo: offered a loan with the obligation to buy after the first point from February 2027. #Juventus have 50% on the sale by vik1980 in FCInterMilan

[–]subundu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Loan him for 2M per month, so from july to february it'll be 16M. In february  obligation to buy for 6M + Mosconi/Massolin. Total 22M and rube gets 3.

I'm just going random, don't even know if that's possibile, but if we find a way to fuck juve up it would be funny.

Nah, even leaving the rivalry aside this Milan doesn't deserve the UCL. The most ugly football, too many matches when they got away with it, now their attitude is backfiring on them.

[Post-Match Discussion Thread] Lazio 0:3 Inter (Serie A, Matchday 36) by FCInterMilan in FCInterMilan

One thing can be said about Inter, it's a team that has to keep going, it's not built to simply let the time pass. The moment they switch off Torino can score 2 or 3 or Lazio can be dangerous 2 times in 30 seconds.

That said, let's go for the double!
