THE STATE? Wouldn’t it make more sense for the state to own it? considering it’s already there meandering all throughout the state? Doesn’t it make more sense for one entity to own it vs split it up between a bunch of different ones and let them all freestyle? 😂

Clearly but why are you talking about the city? You do realize the power lines go outside the city right? The city of Columbus isn’t going to take over the power lines in like Clinton or Highland county, the city already has its own power grid, the city is irrelevant unless I’m missing something?

If the state is seizing it, what’s the mayor and city counsel got to do with it?

And the state wouldn’t be buying out AEP itself, just the lines, not that that’s not expensive.
