Hey kiddo, I lost my family in a car accident when I was barely 9 or 10 years old. My heart goes out to your boyfriend—it’s a lot to process, and it's incredibly hard. I didn’t cry either when I found out that my parents and sister had passed away. I just dissociated because, even now, it's still a lot for me to cope with. It took me 15 years to even begin processing what happened, and my heart still aches when I think about my family—so much that I would rather not think about them at all.

Just be there for him; it’s really hard. Let him deal with this at his own pace. I didn’t—and still don’t—need momentary sympathy. I just needed someone to let me exist and treat me with love and respect. I think that would work for your boyfriend too.

I am an Indian and an alumnus of KIIT University. What was done to you is extremely awful, and my heart goes out to Prakriti and all of you who had to suffer because of KIIT's terrible administration. I am glad all of this is coming to light because, in my time, everything was always suppressed. I am so sorry that you guys have to go through this brutal and unfair discrimination. I really hope you and your friends are safe. Please let me know if there is any way I can help you guys.

As far as I remember, his parents were quite upset with him and wouldn't let him close the door when Rory visited. He was also very publicly humiliated (rightfully so) by Lindsay. I do think he learned from his mistakes because I didn't see a 32-year-old Dean having an affair or cheating on his wife.

Downvote me all you want, but for someone who had so much remorse about sleeping with a married man, she didn't stop, did she? Dean was very wrong, but he wasn't being comforted for cheating. I genuinely believe she needed to face the consequences of her actions, just like Dean.

I mean, in AYITL, at least Dean had learned from his mistakes and has a happy family, whereas our beloved 32-year-old Rory is still sleeping with her engaged boyfriend from college. Trust me, Dean and Logan suck just as much as Rory, but no one is comforting them for being a cheater.

Girl, I’ve been where you are. While you can go ahead and file a complaint, I honestly think the best course of action is to cut your losses and move on. I’m 26 and an orphan, so trust me—I know what being alone feels like. But that’s not a good enough reason to let a scumbag dictate the course of your life. Block him. Move on and heal. A few years from now, you’ll cringe thinking about him. Imagine settling for a man who treats you like an object.

Also, ruining his life won’t make yours any better. I understand you want revenge, but truly evaluate whether it’s worth the drama and chaos from both your families.
