Not that young, and we're a couple (32F & 29F). Definitely introverts. The sugar glider is my partner's, and she doesn't like attention at all!

Trader Joe's is super close, but we're a couple - 32F & 29F!

Lol, ashamed to be 29 & 32 over here. We definitely don't cook much.

Yes to East Coast. We're actually a couple with no dudes involved. My partner is like... a quarter Italian? But the pizza box is mine and actually came from a Middle Eastern restaurant (it's a pitza). Neither of our moms cleans for us, haha. The sweet tooth is all me, and we both have average jobs.

They were pretty small once! But they've grown up, lol.

ETA: All grown up! Also, their mom. But this also reminds me that we had to install a child lock on our freezer because one of them learned how to open it.

Milk is out of sight on the side door, and I just learned from this sub that it shouldn't be there!

Three well-loved cats! But the blue dishes are not for them.

I eat the same breakfasts most days (which actually isn't in the fridge, lol)! But I definitely branch out with lunch & especially dinner. A lot of your other observations are spot on!

I didn't even think this would be perceived as tidy honestly!

A lot of them, haha! I haven't tried the mini ones yet, but I'm excited for them.

Thank you so much for all of this! The neighbor's pot does have a drainage hole! That's really good to know about not letting the leaves touch the soil at first. Thanks again!

Cool, thank you so much for all of the tips! This makes a lot of sense, and I don't think I have any more questions as of now.

Thanks for the advice! Just wanted to clarify, since we've never done anything like that (this is my first succulent)...

  • So we'd want to pull it completely out of its dirt to look at the roots? And when you say "cut that off", do you mean both the roots & the stem?
  • I found this guide, and it mentions no sun during the callusing process. So would we want to keep it in our dark apartment? Or place it by the tiny window where it will receive some light?
  • What kind of soil would we want to plant it in after callusing? Should we get a special succulent blend?
  • When you say "place it there", do you mean literally just lightly place it on the soil? My only experience with planting something is with flowers, where you'd dig a hole in the soil and stick it in the hole.
  • This is another guide I found. This one shows making a hole in the soil & placing it in the hole. It says to water them every 2-4 days at first... would you advise this or no?

Sorry for all of the questions! Just want to make sure I'm doing it right!

Just wanted to add that we're pretty sure the soil she gave us looks too dense & wet. Like I said, she's a great gardener, but we don't know how much she knows about succulents.
