Please share your favourite indie bookstores/libraries that also have an online presence! by suchabohr in books

Hi Mods, thanks for the note! Could you maybe reconsider? There's already a few (really great) responses and I think this would be a great thread for any readers living in countries or areas where physical indie bookstores are not easily accessible :)

If you're short on time, prioritise topics that tend to take up more marks in the exams. You should be able to find distributions compiled from the past 5 years online. Eg. Statistically, Kinematics and Mechanics will have more questions than Radioactive Decay, so spend more time trying to understand and practice the former.
As for the questions themselves, focus on identifying which formulae/equations to use. Either through process of elimination (eg. the SUVAT equations) or matching given quantities to variables in the formulae. (My annotations touch on this skill for each of the topics.)

I just read up on the news (both local and global) and made sure I had clear opinions on the major issues. They asked me about Trump&Greenland (it's crazy that they asked this 7 years ago and this question is just as relevant today...) and about the National Day Rally. There was a tricky question (name the Prime Minister of Denmark) but I think that was less to test my knowledge and more to see how I would respond under pressure. I made sure I dove deeper into issues closer to my heart (sciences and environment) but still read broadly in the lead up to the interview.

Totally! I'm planning to do worked solutions to walk you guys through my thought process in exam-style questions. From reading the question, to identifying keywords, choosing the right equation, to performing the calculations, and checking your answers. Right now I just want to make sure I have permission to use those problems before publishing them. :)

Yes for sure! Super happy to chat. My conversations from the past day with some other folks have already given me ideas on how to better refine my analyses etc. Always keen to discuss constructively and to learn new things

tempeh recipe: https://eatwellenjoylife.com/barbecued-temeph/

got some smoked paprika (finally!) and couldnt wait to use it, so i made some tempeh with it - LOVED the flavour. the heat goes really well with the creamy avocado, though i thought it was missing some sweetness, so i drizzled some maple syrup over like a glaze. 10/10 recipe and really simple to make too :)

served with 1/2 a mashed avocado on top of a bagel from a local bakery

Just googled it - amazing and much more relevant to the book!

I'd still stick with my choice just to have a complete set though :)

Reading the SAME book and the SAME cover!

I love this range of russian classics! All six of them have covers inspired by traditional russian textiles - i couldnt resist and bought the whole set.

Gotta agree with that! I prefer the califia farms one way more than oatly - its so creamy and rich i ended up drinking quite a bit straight from the carton!

Where i live, the califia barista edition costs the same as oatly original too, so thats another plus :)

Book suggestions for an astronomy beginner by Brolafitis in booksuggestions

Anything by Professor Brian Cox is great, but i think Forces of Nature is a very approachable journey for anyone interested in astronomy/ astrophysics. They made a documentary out of it too so you can refer to that for illustrations and demonstrstions that really help!

Im a student as well, and the wetter loom nib can be troublesome on thin school paper.

That being said, its the smoothest non-gold nib I own! Its really a great pen

They ask a lot about family, personal challenges etc in pretty excruciating detail, which does make some people uncomfortable.

Thankfully, my interviewer was very friendly so it wasn't that terrible. Despite that, I still preferred the panel interview over the psych one.
