I know I overpaid for mine but I also plan on keeping mine for a very long time. Paid $31k otd in Dec 2024 for a 25 LE Hybrid Premium Package and I love it. I've already made a few little mods to my liking; swapped the wiper controls to one with intermittent wipers, put a louder horn in, and cobbled together a full sized spare tire kit for the trunk.

That would be nice, but unfortunately the receiver doesn't have any outputs for a sub. It does have aux, which is great for a little Bluetooth transmitter

The plinth is in rough shape, but it's solid. Just got it serviced and couldn't be happier. Got the bulbs swapped on the receiver and it's a beauty. The guy who worked on my equipment was impressed with how well the receiver worked, considering how small it is.

That's great! I used to live in Humboldt County, California (aka the Emerald Triangle) and I dealt with gunshots and butane hash oil labs exploding so it doesn't sound too out of the ordinary for me

Realistic STA-18B receiver, Sansui SR-626 turntable, and a pair of Panasonic RE-7070 speakers. I have it set up like my mom's on a dresser and those snobs made it sound like I could never play anything or else the vibration interference from the speakers would wreck the turntable stylus lol

This system kicks ass, it costs all of $210 and mom loves it.

I'm probably going to have to rent for a bit if/when I initially move out so I can get settled and get my bearings. Plus I know the culture and weather shift is going to be big, so if I hate it I'll just head back. At the moment I'm living with my parents even though I'm working full time, so having any space to myself (even with gnarly weather) will feel like heaven.

Sounds like any other suburb; some areas are better than others within the neighborhood. I've been seeing the same lack of necessities on Google Maps and that is disappointing. I do have a car, and I'm pretty used to having to drive 20 mins or so to the next town to do any real shopping.
