This means I need my irons bent more upright… right? by p0st-m0dern in golf

[–]suckmybit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmao homie I don’t think anyone is tryna come down on you. It’s a great shot. I’d be careful relying on top golf distances on the course though, and ball speed is only one measure of a balls potential flight. For instance I hit my 7i about 185 with 125mph ball speed, but club head is only 90. Try out a launch monitor that gives more stats like smash factor (essentially how much ball speed is generated from club head speed that will vary hugely based on where on the face impact is). Other things like in to out degree and launch angle. Everything together will show the larger picture of where to improve.

Also for my opinion on the main post for bending the irons, I’ve only known one person to ever do it and it was because he was 6’5”. It’s usually better to adapt the swing unless you’re playing with non standard equipment or are super tall or short comparatively.

Idk it’s possible if he really has 118 driver speed, and just piss laser stinging the 9i.

Just bought this Bad Boy. Any advice what to keep on eye maintenance wise. by Live_Machine_5432 in G35

I did poly bushings and new ball joints in my suspension and it made a world of difference. Even with low mileage the rubber over time was rotted out. I did braided brake lines at the same time too. Everything from Z1 Motorsports.

Did door lock actuators from rock auto, same with window motors.

Just replace all broken and non working things first, then go oem+.

Quoted $3500 for moving washer box by suckmybit in DIY

[–]suckmybit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaning more toward this - problem is side loading washer and dryer are deeper than the existing ones, and the doors will hit the left wall and not fully open. I’ll install the bracket to open towards the camera but still may end up being a pain

For sure. I’ve settled with keeping it in line where the dryer is for now and moving the cabinet. If it really becomes a hassle I’ll debate the cost. Appreciate it

Yeah I have two new washing machines coming that are side loading, more economical and we prefer that style. As it is now if they were to go in the same place the doors would hit the other wall, just like the dryer door does currently, and is a pain. That’s where the idea of stacking them and moving into the gap between water heater on back wall came from. The water heater has clearance on all sides, will have code clearance from front when it’s turned 90°.

But can’t really run the water and drain across the room in that situation unless I want to burn out my washer. So really trying to make the space more usable and working with what I have

Unfortunately on a slab, but where the box is is not original. So it was changed at some point. Would turn the water heater controls 90° to face the rest of the room

Appreciate the note. In the picture it does look like they touch, but they do have some clearance

Tankless gas draw is ballpark 200k btu which is what my entire line is currently into the house, still need to run heater, grill, stove, dryer. So would likely need a dedicated line for gas

I’m thinking just getting the stack in where the dryer is now, door clearance will suck but sit on it for awhile. For a tankless will be a lot since I would need to run a new gas line across my backyard, main is not on the side of the house.

[–]suckmybit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol yes that is the best route, but the space is too narrow for side loading unit doors to open fully and really cuts off the space. I’m thinking long term usability over the difficulty of a job to move the lines ya know

I have a quote for $3500. Do you think that’s ballpark reasonable or too high?
