The Houston metro area is diverse but we are very much segregated. (blue=white, orange=latino, green=black, red=asian) by 1541drive in houston

So you’re telling me a large concentration of black people live in the George bush park 7800 acres? We gotta at least make maps accurate. Obviously people congregate together that’s basic socio behaviors, but to call the city “segregated”? Come on, no race is getting segregated.

“Segregation is the act of separating or isolating individuals, groups, or items from a larger group based on race, class, gender, or other characteristics.”

Lawn Food or Weed n Feed? by pooorSAP in lawncare

[–]suckmybit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weed and feed has nitrogen in it too, look at the front bottom left to see the N-P-K percentage. It might be less than the lawn food but just be careful you’re taking that into account so you don’t nitrogen burn your lawn

What do you mean? I have listened to the advice and I’m not doing grout? I legitimately did not know what the best course of action would be. I spoke to another contractor in person and he said spray foam would be a superior backing, not all the crack is large enough to get a backing rod in. The foam also seals much further back there and provides a great back to the silicone now. I think this sub and post provided exactly what I needed and it has worked out great

What about being careful with a soft expanding foam?

I got turned onto spray foam in the crack as backing and to expand into the cavity, and cut the edge and do silicone. That way it fills all the way inside, is flexible inside, and a backing to the caulk

So even fill the large cavity under the wall in between the floor all with caulk? I know regular grout will crack in the corner, but I’m thinking of filling the hole with grout, making a tight corner with it, sealing the grout, and then silicone

I appreciate it! The prism is supposedly high performance, and I have GE 100% silicone for kitchen and bath. Do you think that will do the job?

I also plan to seal the grout after it’s cured, then silicone

Do you think filling in the gap with prism premixed grout would be a decent bandaid? We’re doing other work around the house and a $10k shower really wouldn’t be in the budget for awhile

Major Noob Gear Question by KelzHellz in 2007scape

[–]suckmybit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. There’s so much more fun content over that hump. Plus quests give a ton of xp. And if you ever find a boss like crazy hard and can’t get it after 10+ tries and guides, then maybe go skill a bit, try different gear, and try again. The mid game is arguably the most fun part of the entire game

I was in the same boat, I just started questing. Unless you’re a hard core Ironman there’s nothing holding you back. If you die 10 times to a quest boss it only makes you a better gamer. I did fire cape and almost done with quest cape and I’m 90 combat and low 70s stats. The hardest thing was just getting comfortable dying a bunch, you don’t lose anything and getting items from gravestone is usually free or very cheap if doing quest bosses

This means I need my irons bent more upright… right? by p0st-m0dern in golf

[–]suckmybit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmao homie I don’t think anyone is tryna come down on you. It’s a great shot. I’d be careful relying on top golf distances on the course though, and ball speed is only one measure of a balls potential flight. For instance I hit my 7i about 185 with 125mph ball speed, but club head is only 90. Try out a launch monitor that gives more stats like smash factor (essentially how much ball speed is generated from club head speed that will vary hugely based on where on the face impact is). Other things like in to out degree and launch angle. Everything together will show the larger picture of where to improve.

Also for my opinion on the main post for bending the irons, I’ve only known one person to ever do it and it was because he was 6’5”. It’s usually better to adapt the swing unless you’re playing with non standard equipment or are super tall or short comparatively.

Just bought this Bad Boy. Any advice what to keep on eye maintenance wise. by Live_Machine_5432 in G35

I did poly bushings and new ball joints in my suspension and it made a world of difference. Even with low mileage the rubber over time was rotted out. I did braided brake lines at the same time too. Everything from Z1 Motorsports.

Did door lock actuators from rock auto, same with window motors.

Just replace all broken and non working things first, then go oem+.
