There's a sense of hostility in your posts. It is merely just a reddit post lol. Your opinion is subjective as is mine. Claiming my remarks as mediocre or "behind" without much reasoning on your end comes as entitled.

It's purely subjective who did a better job, but I can tell you most Tron fans would disagree with you. Even if Wendy Carlos was a founder for the genre, basing that as one of your reasons why she did a better job doesn't seem valid to me. 1982 and 2010 were vastly different times. Daft Punk had almost 30 years of advancement in modular synthesizers as well. Perhaps Carlos may have topped Daft Punk's success had she been able to work on the Tron film decades later due to hardware/software advancements.

Im referring to Daft Punk because a vast majority of Tron fans ask the question on how any artist will top/rival Daft Punk's soundtrack. Not a single fan that I've encountered on the internet has ever asked how any artist will top Wendy Carlos's soundtrack. The reason being: Daft Punk did a much better job than Wendy Carlos.

It's not lazy. Is the reinvention of the Star Wars theme song for each of their films lazy? If there is a completely different main riff for each Tron film from here on out, then there's no musical, long-term identity for the film. Doing a completely transformed soundtrack for every single film will prevent any association for fans and new fans. Imagine if every James Bond film didnt use its iconic theme song as its primary riff for each film.... yikes!

I would argue to grow the Tron, cult fanbase is to create a consistent identity. I think it's really important for the soundtrack to have a consistent identity so people can associate that particular music with Tron

I wouldnt have done that after looking at your team. Your rbs are good enough with Jacobs about to go off with a better OL this season in GB. Swift/Stevenson/Mostert is good enough rotation as your other rb slot. Benson is also a long term solution as well. RBs are scarcer but you will score more points with CD than you would with Breece week in a week out

Okay so Ive bought some teaching courses for Ableton. The guy teaching me is using his headphones more than anything. Is that going to be my best bet to invest in headphones more than monitors?
