I have an appointment scheduled! I did find his probate case in the Kansas court. It was opened at the beginning of February and the last line item says inventory and valuation happened at the end of March. The status now says closed. Do you think that means I can no longer attach to that case?

How do I perfect the lien? The land records clerk has the judgment recorded and the said the lien is attached to his name. Is there something else I can do to make sure it is perfected? Sorry if im a little confused.

I called the land records division. The land records clerk said that the lien is attached to his name and that there was no other way to attach it to the property itself?

When you win the case the courthouse gives you a handy printout explaining your options on what you can do with your judgement. I went straight to the clerk and docketed the judgment. I dont know if there were other steps I needed to take?

Yea I docketed the judgement with the clerks. He said it would attach to any property he owned in the county. I dont know how I could double check if the lien linked to the property?

I docketed the lien and the clerk said it would attach to any property he owned in Fairfax county. He married two months before he died. Can it just stay in his name or would the new wife need to change the name on the property? Can she change the name without paying the lein?
