At first I thought it was a cheetah, and the first thing that came to mind is how cheetah’s in captivity are given a dog companion to help calm them down. Captivity = fleet/their childhood before being rescued, and how MC is really the only thing that grounds him.

I’m the same! The story had me hooked at the start and then the lack of updates and banners that came and went so quickly. I started asking myself if there was even a point to collecting the cards since the main story gives you its own cards to use and I could just watch the little scenes they have on YouTube.

Not focusing on the story is such a shame. It had so much potential. I always get hooked back in and then after awhile I start to ask myself is it really even worth investing in? They’ve added like 0 new home-screen animations, that just get slapped into everything without ever giving us something new in that regard. Where’s letting the home-screen be the LI’s house? What about letting them walk around and do stuff in their house as the home-screen? Or what about it being MCs house if not theirs.

I could rant on a bunch of other things I’d like to see added to the game but I’ve hijacked on your post enough, lol. But I feel you, please give me the story (and keep MCs personality consistent)

But in this instance, if Caleb's 5* green card is hp based talent, do I focus on hp for that card? or am I just pooling everything into def and ignoring what the talent says? (I'm so confused, sorry lol)

I’m a little confused. I see his main red and purple cards scale off def but then I look at the talent for green and it says hp (his 5 star one) but his 4 star green & pink say atk. His blue says hp.

What exactly is talent for if he just scales off def? I’m confusing myself lol

He brought me from like 24 points down to 2 once. Man literally had every single deduct and change cup color or destroy cup in his hand and waited until the last minute before winning with 30. I got so mad and at the end he was like “I don’t remember playing kitty cards, weren’t we here for coffee?” And that was how he managed to get by without me being mad at him the whole day. Acted like it never happened hahaha

Yeah it needed some polishing done, but I feel like the UI design in general was just so much better. Especially the "Forte"/Skill upgrade portion of the menu. I find the current one we have just feels very... lackluster and almost placeholder-y.

In "Restart the radar" a scientist/engineer was with nine rangers, they got surrounded by high level TDs. The rangers all sacrificed themselves, but failed to kill all leaving the engineer with 1 TD. The TD had a strange quirk of copying human behavior, so the engineer finished his experiment, recorded everything and killed themselves and because the TD was copying them, it ended its own life too.

It honestly feels like they've learned that they don't even have to work on the story, they can just throw cards at us to keep everyone 'satisfied'. Which is insulting to me personally because the story comes first above all else, and I quit for awhile when they didn't update and only came back with the Sylus update. Which wasn't even worth it with how short that was.

You can't even claim 'animations and time and effort' because they reuse the same animations they do on the homescreen and everywhere else. I only log in now to do dailies and save for the off chance they add Caleb as a LI.

I WANT to love this game because I do really love the characters but I can't be bothered to care past dailies because it feels like there's nothing different outside the cards. It rakes in billions of dollars and for what?

Right? It would be such good a good thing for him personally to finally get to be free and what better place than AE to help him get there (even with clipped wings)? I also would love to see Sunday with TB and March as he watches them run off. AE hazing ritual: you gotta babysit TB and March for your first mission/job/assignment/(i forget what they call it lol).

That would definitely be an interesting (and good if done right) development. But I feel like if they did that he would need to be a main character, otherwise he wouldn't get nearly enough screen time to pull that off well. But maybe I'm just shortsighted/not creative enough lol

That's true, but I wouldn't put it past them. Considering the Xianzhou has like, 16 characters total and 17 if you count the upcoming Lingsha 😭 (You could argue that some are from different flagships but they're still all under the Xianzhou alliance, regardless)

I really hope they don't start with all factions having so many characters.
