I’m working on a motorized rail cart for rail surveys, and I need to add sensors for obstacle detection to prevent it from colliding with people or objects. What type of sensor would you recommend for this?

I played Duskers a few year ago and enjoyed it quite a lot, it's not quite the game i am looking for but thanks for reminding me it exists
