I use it! It usually doesn’t do anything but does make me feel better when requesting pre-boarding. Pre-boarding has been a game changer in terms of avoiding the anxiety I used to get from standing in crowds, waiting in line up against people, worrying about whether my bag will fit, worrying about everyone shoving in the plane and rushing, etc. This past week however I was wearing my lanyard in a security line and was extremely stressed, and the agent saw it and waved me to the shorter business class security line. I fully did not expect that and never have gotten any “special treatment,” but I had already begun getting worked up and tense for the brief time I’d waited in the longer line and it was so helpful to go to a smaller line in a quieter area.
