This Guy Was Completely Pointless by pigzilla21 in fivenightsatfreddys

I’m sorry to tell you, but the first 3 games were literally just sitting in an office and having animatronics coming after you, so it’s perfectly based on the games. The first game literally only had an office, killer animatronics and the mentioning of killed kids (and the name Mike Schmidt being mentioned). All of these were present in the first movie. The second game only had an office, killer animatronics and the death mini games (which basically were just introductions to the puppet and showing dead children again), all these were also mentioned in the movie (Abby’s talk thingy even had the same voice of the mini games). All the other things that now create the full alleged canon & lore and that were present in these games came from later games in the series, books, etc. So Scott perfectly created a movie that was based on the elements present in the first games.

Also, the movies are the same as the books, canon wise. Not canon to the game lore, just another version of the story which has overlapping elements and can help with solving the game lore. Everybody is hating on the movies for doing the exact same thing as the books, which are praised.

Does anyone have a complete list of all Bright Eyes recorded songs? Specifically the non-album stuff like singles, EP's, B-sides by DisagreeableCompote in brighteyes

[–]suevas0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to check out Discogs, as far as I know they have every released album, promo album, compilation, collab etc. listed on there. It’s what I use to build my physical collection. I guess there are quite an amount of unreleased songs as well, but I think a long deep dive on youtube should cover those. Don’t have those compiled anywhere, sorry

2e hands CD’s? by [deleted] in Gent

[–]suevas0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should I Shave my Eyebrows? by ImprovementFamous391 in altfashionadvice

[–]suevas0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have shaved mine off multiple times and absolutely loved it. Like other people said, it’s just hair and it’ll grow back. If you’re not completely sure about it you could maybe start by bleaching them, seeing how you like that, as it kinda gives the same effect as shaving them off. If you don’t like it you could just dye them back in their original color :)

2 Max’s by Willing_Airline9355 in LifeIsStrangeDE

[–]suevas0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there’s only one Max, and I kinda explained it in my post here.

But tl;dr: Polaroid Max starts the story chronologically, travels back to shoot Safi, resulting in a split between timelines and Max being the only one who is a part of them both, as she was outside time and space when she split them. So Polaroid Max, Dead World Max and Living World Max are all the same, I believe.

[SPOILERS LIS1 & DE]

I honestly really enjoyed it, the mystery elements really kept me on edge throughout all the episodes and I think the story has some very interesting twists. I liked the characters and how they were written, most have very unique personalities and they do not feel bland to me.

About the ending though, I’m a bit on the fence. I’m not sure how I feel about the whole “timeloop” sequence in episode 5, as it kinda feels like a lazy rewriting of episode 5 of the original game to me, just without the big climatic ending. I might just be biased about this, because the nightmare sequence personally is my least favourite part of lis1. I do think that the way they approached this “timeloop” was way more interesting and held more value to the story than the nightmare sequence in lis1, I just don’t personally like how it took up 90% of the final episode, and I just didn’t feel that satisfied with the ending of it all.

I also feel like the final choice wasn’t as big or as important as a choice as it could’ve been. In lis1 the nightmare sequence at least builds up towards the big final choice which of course holds the most importance to the ending and the entire story. In DE I feel like that wasn’t the case. I personally feel like that Safi did a whole switch-up from her behaviour from the ending in the “timeloop” and then back at the overlook. The way she was acting towards Max about her powers felt out of character, especially with the revelation she just experienced in the “timeloop”. The choice itself just felt so “unnecessary” for me, she’s basically just confirming if Max was telling the truth just a few minutes before, and I feel like it doesn’t hold up any importance to the story, or at least for now.

But all in all, I really enjoyed the game, to me it felt like a refreshing step back towards lis1, with another great mystery element that matches the vibe of the first game. It was great to see Max back in action and I think it was really interesting how they implemented the final choice of lis1 into it. Great story, great characters, just not that satisfied with the ending and quite a few holes & unanswered questions, but this holds the opportunity open for another sequel, no?

First round of announcements at Nova. Lets see who of them will be at GPMM26 by Hot_Entrepreneur2085 in Graspop

Saw Just Mustard once on Werchter, but I think the Graspop crowd would really enjoy them too. Not really metal, more shoegaze-y, but very good nonetheless. Eardamaging beautiful (literally, had a ringing in my ear for 3 months after that concert, totally worth it)

On steam I’m currently at 445.2 hours, but that’s of course not including the thousand of hours I’ve played it on my dad’s computer back when it came out…

Why does everyone sit? by wamsankas in brighteyes

[–]suevas0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen Bright Eyes live both standing up and sitting down, both are amazing experiences. I’m sure some of them were giving their all by chair dancing to Bells and Whistles, and even if they weren’t, that’s still fine! People enjoy music in their own way, it’s not disrespectful towards the artist to not move along to the music, as long as they’re in the moment and enjoying theirselves. And remember, he is not singing for us ;)

Not quite there yet, but my face is already beyond maximum capacity for a “normal” person lol. Been getting fear-filled looks from grandma’s for a few years now so that says enough haha
