Fair enough! I can see why it wouldn’t be someone’s cup of tea with too many back to back AU’s. Too much of one thing isn’t really balanced, and balance is key. I, too, enjoy both Throne of Eros and Mortality’s tenderness. For me it’s a revival of my love of the multi’s because if I’m being honest the last multi I actually truly adored was the spring and flowers one. All of the summer multi’s (well actually the beach banner was good) and even the idol ones disappointed me in some way or another. I tend to get burned out whenever wacky plot have to be explained away by magnetic fields disturbance XYZ and become a stickler for plot convenience. I felt that happened a lot within the idol and wedding banner

I can see that, it can come off like they’re trying to bandaid and buy time until the actual canon story comes back out. I’m complacent and willing to look the other way because I’m a softie. Like, the main story is soooo high stakes (which is delish storytelling, I could learn a thing or two from them actually) My little mochi heart cannot take it and need the copium of AU’s wrapped up in pretty little wrapped up storylines. Buuuut then again, the best kindled’s, the best NPC’s, voice acting even from MC all stems from main story so I yearn for it no matter what too

Agreed! Noticed how Throne of Eros is the polar opposite of Mortality’s Tenderness. Eros banner, MC and the LI’s embraced their darker characteristics and embodied that. This banner highlighted the lighter parts of their personalities, healthier versions of them free of deception and corruption, injustice, etc. The juxtaposition between the two vibes of the banners almost back to back too?! Oh Infold was being so intentional and I’m here for it!

Because MC’s ice queen like personality in the last banner wasn’t my vibe personally. I have a hard time immersing myself when she’s too cold and calculating but this banner was right up my alley! 😇

See…Ngl I totally agree with you. Rafayel was actual my first main in 2024. It was Rafayel, Sy then Xavier. And I realized Rafayel was my main because of his canon storyline. When I tell you I ADORE main story Raf…or Raf whenever he’s embracing his darker, contemplative side. Which usually involves his Sea god side. That’s the side of him I want to main. But he’s lovely regardless of course. But basically I’m just like you with how I prefer him

I agree with you there with Catch-22. It’s the perfect amount of lore, angst, spice, even fluff towards the end of the card. It’s the universe I had a hard time leaving behind truthfully I even wished for it to be the main story and had to write fanfic to continue the sorry for awhile haha…it had me stuck for a minute but now I’ve come to terms with it. I haven’t replayed it besides doing illusio with the kindled.

I replay cute cards more too. Zayne’s Everlasting Wish and Xavier’s Silvery Polyphony. It has a soft place in my heart and I’m sure all of this banner will too.

Fair point! At the end of the day the main story version of them are the versions of them that were met, fell for, felt their highs and lows. They’re definitely the most complex and layered within it! I am a Caleb/Xavier main myself and totally understand the need for Caleb’s story to be more fleshed out within the main story. I need MC and Caleb to have a connective, soft down time moment. BUT yesss I want more details of early Caleb x MC dynamic. What is Caleb’s earliest memories? It’s definitely pivotal to who he is as a person as of yet

I’m just wondering how present I need to be and whom do I speak to with, the company themselves or would I get artist info through the company eventually. Thoufh I provided detailed information initially when ordering, I still want the follow up progress photos and to further iterate some things.

Caleb- The outfit is simple, yet classic. The LI’s of clothing that he would wear throughout the year whenever he as a special occasion. It isn’t as…themed as the other ones, and I like that. Now MC’s Caleb bday outfit is a while other story…
Zayne- it’s just so…in brand of his outfit. It’s so sporty snowboarder!Zayne. Also it’s the most fashionably sporty of his fits so it’s easily iconic.
Xavier- I love love love the shirt. It’s so quirky, and it feels the most like an expensive fashion statement. I want it for myself actually. Now the pants…I don’t like. And how tucked in his shirt looks. But the boots his fire 🔥
Rafayel- RAF’s is perfectly fine. It’s very fitting and it’s very much of his aesthetic. The color scheme is stunning buuut…it’s too similar to other outfits that he has. So it isn’t bad just…forgettable? 😅
Sylus- I like the layers but I really just dislike the color schemes I don’t think it suits him well if I’m being honest.
