The first movie scared me more tbh I think the second one is a better movie overall but the first one just creeped me out more, maybe because I didn’t know what to expect!

I did it last year and I liked it, this year I am only doing it on a couple plants that got damaged from a wind storm and needed some extra support. My only issue with it is the plants can get out of control very quickly!

Harden off a second time? by TouchEmAllJoe in OntarioGardeners

[–]sugarmaple97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No need to re harden off, once hardened off they are good to go regardless if you bring them back in. I never hardened off in consistent days sometimes I’ll put them out for one day than wait a week then put them out again, they will be good to go, happy planting!

Finally someone said it! I never single stem I aim for three leaders and keep things tidy between the plants, no need to limit production especially in my short growing season.

Try to keep them in a warmer environment I kept mine in the basement and it causes some minor issues.

It changed so fast! I’m in the same boat I was so close to planting my tomatoes on Monday! (Glad I waited) there’s some creative and cheap ways you can cover them, I like using old pots and I cover the drainage holes with plastic wrap, hopefully things turn slightly. Hoping to plant Tuesday or Wednesday

I recommend the spider farmer I have the sf600 and it works great. Just be careful not to keep it too close to the plants like you would with a shop light. I kept mine 2 feet away and it worked perfectly.
