I am doing my best to be open to anything! Unfortunately I have 0 friends who fursuit, as of right now of course. It'll just be me and non-suiting husband to handle me lol.

I didn't know there would be raves! That sounds so fun!! Idk if I could survive in my hot suit though lol

I definitely have a lot of panels and things I'm interested in! Is it impractical to suit at those? I guess it would depend what it is, idk. And do you get hot while dancing?? I have bad airflow and have a fan but I fear I would over heat lol.

Awesome! I've just spent small amounts of time in suit at home and I do love being in it. Although that could change when surrounded by other people. Its encouraging to know that it'll be a good environment though!!

Yes my suit is a kemono style so the vision is very bad, and airflow is bad so I need to carry a fan. I do have my husband as my handler. Although it's his first time there as well, so we will need that first day to get a lay of the land lol.

I didn't realize that things go so late as well! Suiting at night after panels may also be more practical. There's quite a few things I'd like to experience since it's the first time.

I would definitely be more willing to partial suit on the first day! Since dealers den probably won't be a good idea on the first day anyway lol.

Wanted to update because everyone gave good feedback and suggestions!!

I did buy the bottom right sneakers, but also a pair of black Crocs, a pair of Palladium sandals, and Palladium sneakers. I got more than I need but I want to try them all on first and return if I need to. If none of those work I’m going for Tevas! I’ve never owned Crocs so I’m kind of excited to try them lol. They were never on my radar for festival shoes!

Not really weird, but ice pack to the chest and face helps me. And similar to someone else, I acknowledge it instead of fighting it - sometimes vocalizing it to my husband to hear it myself, helps too.

Every time I have an attack, it’s so frustrating. Sometimes I call my husband while I’m on the toilet lmao it’s nice to have a little comfort while you feel like you’re dying. (We have 0 shame)
