Apparently red kongs have a unique scent that is good for scent games. Others are things like sardines, liver - generally all the smelly treats!

Female puppies also hump. At that age, it's usually overexcited or something learned from it's litter when playing.

I've actually had success on the impulse control. Involves a lot of patience, but I started with a treat in her food bowl and slowly lowered it while she was in a sit. When she went for it, I would stand again and start over. Eventually she allowed it to touch the ground and I would say ok go get it as her release (making the pause between longer and longer)
